We fell completely in love with Brandywine Manor House and all that it has to offer for a wedding day. We had both our ceremony and reception at BMH and couldn’t have been any happier with our decision! BMH offers multiple sites for the ceremony – all of which are uniquely gorgeous and can lend themselves in guiding the wedding design process! We chose the Lakeview for August 31st ceremony for our love of water, the gorgeous walk across the lawn from the pergola and over the bridge, and the space we could transform to match our garden-wedding vision. My personal favorite part about Brandywine was not just the back-up rain plan for our site (the barn), but the Plan C they offer – the patio. The brick patio was such a great alternative for a rainy morning with wet grass, but still having the opportunity to get married outside. If you're a bride that likes control (like me), having so many options is such a relief! From the moment we booked BMH, we knew we were in the best hands! Aimee, our venue coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure we had the best vendors for our big day, was readily available to answer all of our questions, and worked seamlessly with our wedding planner to make sure the day-of went smoothly. She even secretly coordinated with my Dad for a surprise fireworks show to rivaled township fireworks! She kept me calm the week leading up to the wedding while we watched the weather, reminding me of all the different alternatives – something she didn’t have to do! For the best all-in-one venue, with the friendliest, most helpful family leading the way, Brandywine Manor House is a 5-star location for a wedding! We loved every moment and couldn’t have been happier 😊

Our wedding at BMH was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful with so many options…. We got married on the brick patio under the gazebo since I wanted us to be a little elevated for everyone to see us which worked out perfectly. A ceremony in the barn was just as comfortable for me as a backup plan. Either would have been beautiful and that’s why I chose this venue to begin with. Our cocktail hour was upstairs downstairs and under the barn and it was everything I’ve ever dreamed of. The reception in the tent was dream like with the lighting the globes and the gardens in the background. Really important to note the bathroom & bar situation as well as the bridesmaids suite- there was never a line which was very important to me. Plenty of bathrooms and we were able to have 2 bars at cocktail hour and 1 HUGE bar at the reception. The bridesmaids suite was so big and having my own private bathroom as the bride was extremely important and helpful to me. Last but not least Aimee took all of my anxiety off of me. From the beginning she is super super responsive. Setting up the tables on all seated helped me visualize the room. They let me visit the venue a year out to date and a few other times before to just figure out where I would like things since I am so visual. She led the rehearsal like a true champ and gave me so much confidence. This gal knows what she is doing!!! Last but not least the night of Aimee problem solved a few minor mishaps that occurred due to other vendors the night of & is my true wedding hero. I will always remember her and how Brandywine Manor House helped make our wedding the best night of our lives.

We had our wedding here a little over two years ago and it was beautiful. I will say there is some room for improvement but over all it was gorgeous. We paid for the higher priced package as we needed a day of coordinator. I do feel like she did an ok job but there were many times we were searching for her and the golf cart, which caused a delay in schedule. We got married in July and it was HOT. We were under the impression there would be air conditioning in the tent as it is air conditioned and it was not on. We were told it would be on. For $12,000 I did expect more. I was really hot and all the guests were sweaty. We were actually told day of the air conditioning would make it warmer than having the tent open. Not sure how that’s even possible…There was some correspondence from the owner (I believe) that was a little snippy and it was kind of frustrating at the time. A few of our guests also mentioned how there were dead koi fish in the pond and it really freaked them out. Other than that, it was beautiful! Just make sure they do turn the AC on!!!

We booked the barn at BMH 2 years prior to our December 2017 wedding date. It was the 4th or 5th venue we visited, and we both knew right away that it was the one. I cannot express how gorgeous this venue is, and how perfect it was for our Christmas theme. Our guests are still commenting on how stunning it was! Many stated it was the most beautiful venue they’ve been to! Compared to the venues we visited prior (barn, winery, inn, and country club), Brandywine was pricey for what is included in the package, but we felt the beauty of it was worth it. We were happy that they only book one event a day – unlike other locations we visited. From booking our event to the wedding day, the employees at BMH were amazing at answering/returning our emails and phone calls. I specifically remember speaking with Nancy, Meg, and Aimee – all of which were wonderful. We chose to also book an officiant (Ryan) and coordinator (Aimee) through BMH, and we were happy that we did! Ryan worked with us until our ceremony was perfect and made sure it felt personal. Having Aimee was a huge help in making sure everything went smoothly. I HIGHLY recommend hiring a coordinator. She helped to make sure vendors knew where to go and what to do, keep us on time, and to also help setup/take down decor. The only issue we had was that we received multiple complaints about Aimee being pushy/rude – especially towards our photographers. We feel as though it was partially our fault as we really stressed to the photographers how much the photographs meant to us but didn’t inform Aimee. We understand it’s her job to keep us on time, but we wish she would have come to us and asked what we would like to do instead of becoming so flustered. We booked the vendors for a set time regardless, and we know our guests wouldn’t have minded waiting as they knew we won’t have another chance for those photos. In the end, we are incredibly happy we chose BMH as the venue for our big day! It was even more beautiful than we could...

Our experience with Brandywine Manor House was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived at the big, open, and beautifully maintained property, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. I had the pleasure of first working with Nancy while Aimee was on maternity leave. She was lovely, showed us around the property, and helped us select our package for the wedding. Aimee then took over and I can’t express enough just how professional and meticulous she was to ensure that every single detail on our special day was perfect! I’m a very organized person and wanted to make sure I had a coordinator I trusted 100%. I highly recommending purchasing the option to have Aimee as your wedding coordinator. It literally took all of the pressure off of me even before my wedding day! The Brandywine property is extremely well kept and absolutely gorgeous. Many of our guests said it was the most beautiful venue they’ve been to. They have so many different ceremony, cocktail hour and reception options - you can’t go wrong! And they will help you design your ceremony space exactly as you envision it. We also chose Brandywine because they have such a detailed rain plan and I didn’t want to feel stressed or like I was scrambling if we faced bad weather. We were very lucky and had a gorgeous day. If you are getting married in the spring, the property is so lush and green, our pictures were incredible. The bride and groom suites were also perfect places to get dressed and relax before the ceremony and for my new husband and I to have a breather during the craziness of the event. I can’t express enough how much I recommend Brandywine as a top tier venue for weddings. The professionalism of the staff and the beauty of the property...
