Staff extremely rude, Iām not from around here, instead of being helpful were condescending annd confrontational and made sure I would never come back. Saturday 9/13 6pm Bartender. I work for the LPGA and travel full time and visit public and private courses weekly in cities all over the world and have never had somebody treat a stranger with the hostility and attitude that this guy did. Just a bad attitude. Nobody using the facility and I stopped to have a putt after work and have never run across a facility that said āopen to the publicā where guys werenāt welcome to come putt around, within reason, not abusing any privileges, in fact Iāve had some of the top private courses in the world extend the courtesy of coming to relax and have a putt after work. But as this employee explained āthereās a first time for everything, and thatās not how it works here at Beckettā ⦠well buddy, thereās also a last time for everything. Plenty of options in the area. I offered to pay a greens fee for my time but this guy was more interested in playing cowboy. The kind of person whoās never had control of anything in his life and canāt wait to ruin somebodyās time rather than have a nice conversation with a first-time visitor and explain that they need to charge a modest fee for upkeep to the facility etc and ensure a nice pleasant transaction and some repeat business. Instead marches out there like an old man eager to run teenagers off his lawn. 6pm on a Saturday Iām not bothering anybody, in full golf attire, ⦠very frustrating and disappointing interaction and this guy felt very proud of himself and dismissive of any feedback I had to offer. This is the problem with public golf these days. No training and bottom feeding riff raff...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI know what this golf course was as a member when it was a private country club. I know what poor shape it was in when Mr. Patel purchased the course and before he hired Mr. Fink. I have witnessed what this golf course has become with Mr. Patelās investments to improve it and by having Mr. Fink invest his expertise, time, energy and leadership to make this the fine golf club it is today. It is a golf club we are once again delighted to play and tell our family and friends about. Beckett Ridge Golf Club has risen from the ashes of ruin to a shining Club on the Ridge. As a member of the Beckett Ridge Community and member of this club I believe we are all indebted to Mr. Patel and Mr. Fink and his staff for the investments, hard work and leadership to not only save our golf course but to create one that we are proud of and love again. Iāve heard they are not done and it is going to get even better. I am looking forward to seeing what else they have in mind and spending more time...
Ā Ā Ā Read more9/14/2025 What a complete rip-off! Green fees $74 per person! Look what our 4-some experienced for our money!!! 1st photo shows an example of their typical tee box, 2nd photo shows the in-cart GPS screen constantly notifying us that we were in a restricted area, when we were actually on the cart path, 3rd photo shows the condition of a typical fairway, with most greens reflecting the same condition! We chose this coarse based on previous experience (which was positive) but on this day we were embarrassed to be entertaining out of town guest only to find the course in complete decline!! Donāt bother renting the dirty carts!! There are so many restricted areas on the coarse that you walk to ball locations more than you ride! BUYER BEWARE!! The coarse is barely playable! There are so many beautiful public courses in the Cincinnati area for the moneyā¦do not choose...
