Camp Store — Local services in West Glacier

Not happy. Overcharged by about $5 for an item that marked as on sale with red sticker. Cashier charged regular price. I didn’t notice until I got back to my campground. It will cost more in fuel to return for the refund. They also charge a utility fee. Not sure what that is about. Paid cash so it’s not a card fee. Finally, I was already put off by the employee who was yelling loudly as each customer walked in, that they would be closing in 15 min..then 10…and eventually down by the minute. Everyone was in line waiting to be checked out except for maybe one or two people who were grabbing snacks. It did not make for a great customer experience. He simply could have informed those coming in (as he was right by the door) that they would be closing in a few minutes. It would have been sufficient, it was very abrasive and made paying customers feel very unwelcome. Lesson: I should have walked out the moment the cashier started yelling, I wouldn’t have been overcharged at least. More training is...

Just wanted to highlight the staff at the store, particularly Sharon, who was extremely accommodating. My husband and I were trying to notify the National Park Service to send a park Ranger to help our family members who were stuck on a trail. Sharon was quick to call NPS and was kind to give us updates as they came in. We appreciate her kindness and willingness to help! Not to mention, the store was well-stocked....

We stopped into the store on our way to see Glacier National Park. The staff was amazing and gave us helpful recommendations for our visit. Emma at the registered was extremely nice and suggested we hike Avalanche Lake. We loved it! We also really liked the shirt and...
