Glacier Park Boat Company at Lake McDonald Lodge — Local services in West Glacier

I gave them a 2 because of a couple after the fact issues. First off, the boat was fine and had plenty of fuel for the running around we wanted to do. The staff did a good job explaining the boat and the boats were in decent shape. The issue was…, when we got home we noticed they ran the charge twice, simple mistake but it’s taken several calls to track a person down. It must happen often from the sound of the receptionist. But, she promised to have it resolved in 5 days! Not sure why she couldn’t just reverse the 2nd charge? I have a receipt (thankfully I listed to wife and always try and get a paper receipt). So I had the receipt for 34 bucks, for the 55 minutes of rental. I had to go over the story with 2 independent employees, the second one needing to talk w “management” to get the duplicate charge reversed. Disappointed I have to hassle w this for 34 bucks! It should be, I’m sorry let me reverse this duplicate charge and I’m on my way.

Amazing boat ride. With our captain Helen and special guest Park Ranger Hailey joining us. We are on a road trip from TX and enjoying the most beautiful view in Montana- The Glaciers! Awesome family owned boat company. They use very nice old charming boats, but they are equipped with the lates safety features.

Had a wonderful time with the family (2kids 8 and 5). Our tour guide Laila was awesome, knowledgeable about the area and answered all our questions.
