Dollar General — Local services in West Hanover Township

I live 1/2 mile from this store. On The 19 th of February. . 12:50 pm . The store was being busy stocking with multiple people. No issues. Since I did not want to use a credit card for a 4 dollar purchase I went to the cash line . Stood there squeezing some stupid animal toy like an idiot. No show . I threatened to just leave the store and forget it . The older man that works there showed with a nasty look on his face like I was somehow inconveniencing him . I said thank you after the purchase only to be given a nasty look back . And his back turned on me . If this is how customers are treated for paying cash . There is too many other places to go . And just another thought. This is like the third time dealing with the person. I will go...

I visit this store frequently, the store always has a very nice selection. The reason for my bad review is every time I go to this store and the older gentlemen working there he always has the worst customer service. He does not greet you, even if you do say hello he ignores you. The whole transaction is very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. If you choose a job working with people you should have some sort of personality and customer service skills. I hope this store soon opens up the self serve registers so I don’t have to deal with this man when I go in there. I hate writing bad reviews but this is just sad every time I...

I love this Dollar general! I'm so glad they moved to this location... it's convenient! When I need household items like cleaning products or light bulbs, greetings cards or snacks I can just go here. The store is clean, and shelves are well stocked. They have a little bit of everything. The store is basically a self service store, as I have rarely seen a cashier at the register but there is usually someone in the store if you need help but not always visible. I recommend trying them out. They even have fresh produce in this location! Nice when you don't feel like going to the grocery store and deal with the crowd...
