I will never ever even for a second consider returning here after my first visit.

I'm pretty sure it's run by 15 and 16 year olds who have tied up the adults. Terrible attitudes.

One employee denied a boy the use of the slides because she was flirting with him and then when he flirted back she said he was being inappropriate and wasn't allowed to use the slides.

Lifeguards yelling jokes back and forth to each other, not paying attention to anything.

The little kid water area had kids RUNNING all through it. My son got knocked down by a boy who was running and slipped, and I told the kid not to run. He said, "You don't work here!" He's right, I don't. So where were the employees?

Wasps EVERYWHERE. Yes, bugs live outside. I'm an avid hiker, I don't mind bugs. I do mind when wasps are crawling on me and my things constantly. Being deathly allergic, panic set in when one decided it wanted to hang out on the back of my leg for quite a long time.

A small amount of rain began to fall. A girl came on the PA and said, "Lightning has been spotted!" Except, it wasn't. It was a run-of-the-mill rain storm. The clouds were very light grey. I even checked with WGAL and it said it was only a rainstorm. They just didn't want people there.

So anyway we go to get our hand stamps to return when the "storm" ends. A large jock boy is munching fried chicken and stamps our hands with his gigantic, grease-filled hands. The stamps immediately washed off in the rain....

This used to be our favorite spot. Now this place has become the WORST. Overcrowded, over-priced, loud, trashy. Foul-mouthed couples having a domestic screaming match in the parking lot when we last visited, yelling curse words in front of kids. Rude people everywhere, no sense of personal space...parents as bad as kids...one group was horseplaying and splashed our baby in the face and didn't even notice or care, let alone apologize. While the Park employees themselves are great, friendly, the Park seems to now allow unlimited busloads (from Baltimore & York, I presume) of obnoxious non-locals to swarm the place, many obviously out of state. 20 minutes into our last visit, and we get an announcement they have to shut the entire pool down for an extended time per health code mandate due to someone's FECES in the water. Pun fully intended, I s**t you not. Even the once calm & quiet weekday evenings - which had become the only reasonable time to visit - have become loud, crowded, and full of the same vulgar low-class animals that have taken over our community pool. Ask ANY local for the real skinny on the state of Codorus pool, and they'll tell you the same. It's sad that such an otherwise, once-nice place has become...

Lets start off with the CASH ONLY part at the entrance but when it comes to buying food inside they do accept debit/credit???!!! Last Sunday my family and i decided to go to this place which i now regret. Starting with the staff ALL TEENAGERS NO SUPERVISORS AT ALL. My 8 year old was was descriminated by this staff member named Ally. Out of hundreds of kids going on the slides my son was unfairly kicked out and not allowed to go back. I spoke to this girl name Ally asking her what was the matter, she totally ignored me so i had to ask her again until she finally looked at me and said “im just doing my job ma’am “ never a clear or reasonable explanation of why my son was kicked out and not allowed to go on it again. My son felt terrible he cried because he didn’t understand why the rest of the kids were having fun but not him. I ask to speak with a supervisor but i guess they have no supervisor on weekends. Racism and descrimination is what i end up receiving from this place instead of the “ fun” that i was looking for. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. If i could give this place 0 stars will be amazing but unfortunately...

6/23/24 - Today was a great day to be at the pool. All parts of the pool were open, slides included, splash pad, snack bar. Cash only to get in, but cards can be used at the snack bar. I see reviews about parts being closed, or even the whole place closed for the day. I have stopped by, and the pool was closed for the day. Sometimes, folks just have to understand this is a public pool. They might have a life guard call off, and as we know in the work world, a call off can mess up the flow for today, more so in a small business environment. Overall, it is a nice environment to cool off on a hot day. Bring a chair they don't have any. I even saw a canopy in the grass by the pool. And in the parking lot with folks grilling and making a day of it. So be miserable or have fun, the choice is yours, but be understanding, it's a public pool, not grandma's.

Summer hours are 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. A fee is charged for pool use. Season passes are available at the park office. The pool is very popular and reaches capacity on holidays and many weekends. Mid-week swimming is often less crowded. The pool has an ADA accessible ramp. There's a snack bar with hot and cold foods and beverages. the pool is very near the campground.

The pool seems awesome but, beside the cool slide, it's merely a practical way to cool off. Shaded spots are limited and the hot concrete was plentiful. The pool was only half open for us so it was a painful trip to get in the water. Between those 2 factors and not having diving boards, it wasn't worth the few bucks to get in - at least for us.
