IGA Foodliner — Local services in West Milton

I really think the negative reviews get deleted because there’s no way this place gets this many stars unless people don’t look at the expiration dates . I’ve been in this town for many years and IGA sells spoiled produce and has expired products on their shelves as recently as last week which included hot dogs that expired in March and canned dog food that expired in May. Not the first time and I only went there because I was in a hurry. This has been happening for over 10 years just for me. I know many people in town that have lived here longer than me that won’t go there because of that. It’s such a shame. I wish they cared more about what they are selling and I wouldn’t make the trip to Kroger’s. I would shop local. I love the deli and shopping there. The workers are nice. But today i went in to get dog food the same dog food i always get at DG. I bought the food and went to the office. I said excuse me could you please tell me why this is $11 more expensive than dollar general. The lady's reply is why im giving 2 stars. She says "well you can put it down and go to dollar general" im sorry if i was a store owner i wouldnt have replied rudely to a polite customer asking a question. The man was nice and answered the best he could at the moment i am guessing. But thats not how you treat...

This is a REAL butcher shop too, and they have the best Delmonico Steaks anywhere around.... They actually make most of the deli case stuff right in house, with real ingredients too. .. oh and they use real mayonnaise... the homemade potato salad is the real deal, exactly like grandma used to make with real whole fresh ingredients.. They also have a garden center and right now it's full of beautiful fresh local Christmas trees. BTW, if you're into it, there are hundreds of kinds of craft beer.. I hear it's really an a amazing selection from my craft beer...
