I skipped lunch and drove an hour in traffic on my last day in Florida to get here before they closed. Well from the reviews and website I couldn’t tell they don’t take visitors. The lady manager told me I can’t go inside, gave me a flier at the door and told me to check their instagram. I didn’t get to say a word and just ran back crying to my car. (Thank you first person I briefly chatted with who was nicer!)

5 stars to the work I assume they are doing and 0 stars to that lady, that was pretty damn heartless. It’s really not the way to interact with someone who was so invested in your work, especially when you’re in a non-profit trying to spread awareness and raise money. The desire to educate individuals and help improve the health of the ocean and it’s inhabitants is truly inspirational. I will continue to be a supporter of this amazing institute for as long as...
