I skipped lunch and drove an hour in traffic on my last day in Florida to get here before they closed. Well from the reviews and website I couldn’t tell they don’t take visitors. The lady manager told me I can’t go inside, gave me a flier at the door and told me to check their instagram. I didn’t get to say a word and just ran back crying to my car. (Thank you first person I briefly chatted with who was nicer!)
5 stars to the work I assume they are doing and 0 stars to that lady, that was pretty damn heartless. It’s really not the way to interact with someone who was so invested in your work, especially when you’re in a non-profit trying to spread awareness and raise money. Also spare me from the biosafety talk, I’ve done plenty of science outreach and worked in various labs myself and yet never turned away...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about this place. Dr. Charles Gregory is a veterinarian that cares about the health of your fish. He has a beautiful facility and is knowledgeable on all things marine. If you are looking for an aquatic expert, then look no further. Dr. Gregory takes the time to listen and diagnose the issue. Without him, I would have lost all my fish. If you live in South Florida consider yourself lucky because not many places can give your fish antibiotics when they need it, but Dr. Gregory can.
