From easily reasonable to save your pennies, this shop has the full gambit . Then there are the cases of exquisite jewelry- many crafted on the spot from Maine gems, with a special emphasis on tourmaline. Again, from very affordable to more expensive examples all set in silver and gold, a fantastic variety of design. Not to be missed, for me this shop is just a delight. I can lose hours just browsing. The owner is a great designer and the artist behind many of the items, and will do any custom work on order. We are devoted customers and will be for all our jewelry needs. My husband has gotten me beautiful watermelon tourmaline jewelry (necklace, bracelet and earrings) from here. Then he got my custom white gold with diamonds and Aquamarine stones engagement ring from here as well. Needless to say the custom white gold with diamonds and Aquamarine stones wedding band was absolutely STUNNING! Leighton's is a customer service unicorn. We drove 3 hours over from NH while on vacation to check out Mt. Apatite and Leighton's. We got there late and Brett was nice enough to stay open and show us around after hours. The prices and quality of specimens we're better than any other mineral shop I've been too. I purchased 3 emerald cut Maine tourmaline stones for a ring design. When we got home I noticed one of the stones wasn't cut square and it would be noticable in the ring design. I reached out to Leighton's who not only replaced the stone but sent two extras as well to make sure the color matched the other two I purchased.
