If ever passing by definitely stop and check this place out. It's located along Rt26 in West Paris,ME over a Gorge containing the Little Androscoggin River on property that was once the site of a couple 1800s mills. #river #gorge #bridge #waterfall #history #placestovisit #explore #maine #mainelife #sundayfunday #outdoors #fyp #foryoupage

It’s awesome, but kind of underwhelming. The bridge had a big puddle on it, but it posed no problems as you can just walk across on the side of the bridge. There is a really short trail in the woods that leads to nothing. I suppose if you are daring or crazy you could climb down to the falls themselves, but that seems rather risky. It could potentially be a good spot by the highway for a picnic or something of the sort though. Have fun!

Just a beautiful spot. The last time I stopped it was very windy and the river was wet spring furious coming through the gorge. I want to return on a calm , warm summer day! I would never recommend this as child-friendly. The thought of small children there makes me nervous....

AWESOME STOP, BUT BE CAREFUL WITH KIDS.

We came here while on vacation. It is a really unique spot, and some beautiful views. It is not really a hike...more like hike "around". It is not fenced once crossing the bridge and there are many places with significant drops that could be dangerous if children are not supervised. That said, we came with kids ages 7-16 and everyone survived...so don't over react. Use good sense, watch your kids, and this is a great...

This was a great surprise to find- Public outhouse bathroom is here. Nice let of waterfalls/rapids with a couple potholes carved in the rocks. Looks like an old mill was here at one time. There is a bridge to walk across to get to the other side. A marker is at the far end of the rest area- belong the outhouse, that explains who John Snow was- who this rest area was named after. ...
