frequently travelling between AUO and LGC i've stopped at frisky's several times. the first thing you notice is the trash blowing around the parking lot and overflowing garbage can. questionable pride factor of ownership. but what the heck, it's a booze store with good prices. what me worry about dodging fast food wrappers and beer cans. not the nicest shopping experience with surly staff, narrow aisles and crowded space. admittedly kinda picky but no showstoppers so far as they have a pretty good selection. what is most troubling about my experience is they did not honor a special advertised price for a 1.75 L of canadian whisky displayed on the floor. when i pointed out the discrepancy to a staff member (unfortunately after checking out) i was told that the deal price had expired and they had forgot to remove the price display. so sorry. when i suggested they honor the price as displayed i was told no. the frisky lady said if $1 was that important to me she'd give me a dollar out of her pocket. nice touch but the $1 was not the point. it's the principle. when i said i'd never stop at frisky's again the response was basically a shrug of the shoulders. i'll miss you frisky. lots of other good liquor stores around that...
Read moreWalked in and met what I didn’t know would be one of the ugliest personalities in my life. This black woman was dressed in red and white Betty Boop character shirts, midsection exposed with several nose rings and her clothes were oversized, not fitting well. She’s playing the music loud like she’s at home. After ringing up my item, the price was higher than advertised at $25.99, mind you, it was advertised in 2 places. This rude woman looks at me and says “prices change and I can’t change the prices”. I told her I would go and take a picture of it, she replied “it doesn’t matter”. So…I walked to the back to find both prices advertised the same at $22.99. She brings her unprofessional self down the aisle and says that one of the price signs was hand made and proceeds to remove it, but clearly this was a special advertised price. I then show her on the same isle that the everyday yellow store tag was marked at the same price in a second spot, she proceeds to say “I can’t change prices, so you either want it or not.” I left and plan to NEVER RETURN TO THIS...
Read moreHave shopped here in the past. Decent prices for a last stop before the state line. Walked in, no greeting or acknowledgment. We were looking for something for my Dad. I was followed around by an employee that felt comfortable belching all over the place. Without excusing themselves. Every aisle I entered, she followed. Every single aisle. None of the employees asked if we needed help. Maybe because they didn’t know anything about their products? Or too busy with personal conversations on the floor. Then a dog in a Christmas costume popped out of nowhere and ran up and down the aisles. Not everyone is an animal person. Especially in a business setting. We were cool but I mean it’s an icebreaker and opportunity to be courteous. At least say “he/she’s friendly”. Still no acknowledgment or suggestions/assistance. Extremely rude establishment. Next time I’ll do my shopping before I get to the edge of this section of Georgia. Not sure what their deal is but I don’t care to support...
