Friendly owner and overall nice guy to chat with. I am sure the vodka and other simpler products are great but the barely legal (only 80 proof) bourbon is lacking. I can definitely understand why it is underdeveloped and not ready for its 45 dollar price tag—my question is why not do something different with it, whether that is sourcing and blending or something experimental, I.e., staves, oscillation, etc..? It’s a competitive landscape and the only way to compete in bourbon is with something solid and/or different otherwise it is just a novelty for consumers...

I went in for a tasting with my wife and mother in-law. I love it when you walk into a tasting room and you can tell they're making the spirits in the same building because of the smell. We tried most of the whiskeys and they were decent. Great variety. The owner was knowledgeable about his craft, but was not friendly at all. Unfortunately I can't say I'll be going back...

I just came from here and this guy is so down to earth and nice. Everyone talking about he ain't nice is full of it. He shared his whiskey with me and educated me on what he does. This guy is awesome! And I called him out of the blue and he still let me do tasting. Will be coming back...
