We found the place where fall feels like pure magic — Dave’s Pumpkin Patch in West Sacramento šŸ Our kids’ absolute highlight? The giant jumping pillow! This was one of those experiences where I wish I could leave them a 0 star review but I can't so I'm going to settle for the lowest possible because they do not deserve better at all.

The staff is very uncoordinated and the supervisors are extremely rude. We had staff suggest we wait until 6:30 to buy our tickets because the family pack was $55 but said at 6:30 we'd get the same tickets and haunted corn maze for $36 and that I could get an extra haunted corn maze for $2 more. This was backed up by 3 different staff members including one standing right next to the "supervisor" who made it very clear that whoever told us that was wrong treating me like I was making it up as she told me that 5 tickets for the haunted corn maze alone were going to cost $90 and if we wanted the family pack to include the corn maze which was now more because it's haunted, that alone was now $72. Of course we could get the basic wrist band which included almost nothing but watching some Disney movie that had already started because everything normally included was shut down. She was so rude we just left, no way I was giving them another dime. We were already over $150 just between 2 kids getting a pony ride, dinner and us each getting a pumpkin.

Price: Dinner was a bit over $70 without kids eating much at all, $26 for 2 pony rides, $68 for 4 pumpkins and 4 of the little white ones.

This is after standing in obscenely long lines repeatedly for everything, finding out a lot of stuff is not included in the everything included, having our order at the cafe messed up and standing in that line twice.

There were some really nice people there, unfortunately everything they said was contradicted by people that were kind of jerks and clearly didn't give a care at all for the mistakes of their employees and how it impacted their customers.

Had the staff given me the correct information I would have purchased the family pass, let the kids play, then when everything started closing gotten pumpkins and maybe eaten dinner and left so the kids would have been able to play and have a good time. Since we were not given correct information by anyone, which information was hard to get at all, we took it easy anticipating that it would be cheaper to do less but more fun stuff later before we left and we did the rest earlier. Their staff mistakes altered the course of our entire evening and they didn't even remotely care at all though one of the 3 staff members giving us incorrect information clearly felt horrible and looked like she wanted to cry. She said "the owner came later and set me straight".

Basic attributes: Lack of consistency and communication between staff translates to customer inconvenience with no accountability on their part. Unjustifiably high prices, you could easily spend more than at Bishops when everything is considered and this place is not even a fraction as good. Management is rude and not empathetic at all to their customers for things that are actually their fault.

We were looking for a new place to be our annual family pumpkin patch after moving however this one is not it, I will never take my family...

Not a lot to do. The price is 20 bucks not too bad but for what you get it sort of is. Cash or prepay only which is fine. But I've been to some that been in the middle of nowhere and still had all options

It's small and has charm. The picnic area with shade and trees is awesome. The donut was tasty. Plenty of parking. I ordered the Garlic fries and they were tasty. The hot dog is your bang for your buck. Definitely could make this place better. My kid loved it. But he loves everything even me so that's not saying much.

I got the tri tip sandwich. It was super pricey for the world's smallest tri tip portions. I had the 2 small slices. Of tri tip. It's laughable at what I got. We ordered a total of 6 or so and all had that issue.

The staff wasn't that friendly and I could see why some said they were rude. We got yelled at for for going to the corn Maze with no wristbands even tho the front told us everything in the fence cost. Miscommunication no biggie. It happens. Luckily we didn't go to the corn Maze. It was super muddy and wet. I know some are like it's a corn maze of course there's mud. That's valid however, I never been to a Maze that had pools of water. I'm coming from Texas where it rains a lot. I don't want to go mudding in Maze.

We did pretty much everything inside and like I said there really isn't much to do. The tractor ride is cool. I mean who doesn't like a tractor.

But I would have liked an honest review. I'm definitely not one to complain about everything but this is my review. And I recommend going to a reputable pumpkin patch. This was my first time at Daves. But I hope this helps so you don't leave the pumpkin patch disappointed. Any ways sorry for...

I absolutely love this pumpkin patch!!! My parents took my sister and I when I was 8 or 9... I am now 20 and after a returning trip a decade later it is just as magical! The same green bouncy platform I had fun on, I saw other new children of the next generation doing exactly as I did... the same haybale tractor rides, the same absolutely DELICIOUS food, the same hay mazes, corn sandbox, and hay "ziggurat"... magical. That is the only word to describe it.

My mom and I got to relive so many precious memories returning to this place almost ten years later and might I say the customer service is PHENOMENAL! At the front help desk, at the barbecue, as well as where the donuts and sweets were sold, every single employee had friendly faces and gave perfect service (it was around past closing time, mind you!) The apple cider donuts were fresh and warm, the fries and hot cider were perfect for the evening chill, and a 30 lb. pumpkin for 12$? FOR REAL? Phenomenal! I am especially happy to support a local grower than to buy mass produced pumpkins from some grocery store.

I came with expectations and they were all MORE than met. Negative reviews... lacking merit. As a recurring customer, I am proud to give 5 stars for the full belly and even fuller heart (and camera roll) this pumpkin patch provides! Thank you for all you do ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

(Forgive the poor photo quality......
