It's darn near great. It just comes up a tad bit short of being truly great. The park is, no doubt, beautiful. There are so many nice features on this course. The mossy that grows over the ground and up the old trees. The birds that are serenading you and that lake running up the final few holes - it's all great but I wanted a bit more. For a "state park course" I guess I expect more "in the nature". You end up playing in a lot of open fairways.
The course has BIG fairly wide lanes to the greens. I like the design of the course all in all. It's got that Knob Hill or even Iron Hill feel. This is a big course. You are going to need to throw a lot of discs to get through 18 here. So many great holes, but it also felt a bit endless. I got tired of crushing fairway drives, but that's just my preference.
Cool setup to give Blue, White and Red and enough signage to figure it all out. Definitely worth a drive...

Stop by the park office and grab a map as holes aren't always clearly marked. It was a great course though! Had a lot of fun, and wish to come again.
