Beautiful place, exquisite beach and the our lunch was fantastic! The only issue I had was the woman who checked our pass. Her husband was very nice but his wife checked our pass and said there wasn't a signature on it and that she could turn us away but to have it signed next time. She said that due to this, I being a guest was not allowed to enter the restaurant. My friend ordered our food and we ate outside in 90 degree heat but to be told I couldn't enter the restaurant due to the pass not having a signature was in poor taste since my friend is a member and pays for the membership. To turn away any member's guests from eating in the establishment is ridiculous since we were going to spend money in the bar. She then went over to 2 elderly women and asked them for their pass which they told her that she had already asked them a little while ago. She moved on to ask other people she had already asked. I then had no choice but to get off my butt and find something else to eat. I then got some cannoli, a chocolate thing, and some jelly beans. The cannoli was alright, but when I got to the chocolate whatever it was, I looked at it, took a bite, swallowed and then... YECCHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
It tasted like POOP! And as for the jelly beans, they tasted like they were two months old. I mean, Easter was two months ago!
In conclusion, I DO NOT recommend going here for brunch. The food tastes like crap and there's not a...
Read moreUsually always a pleasant time at the Elks. A fav for years & supports good causes! Food, drinks & atmosphere is good and so is the food & usually a socially good time. Great facility with an improved, sizeable deck of the bar next to an inside windowed dining room overlooking the ocean. A large open deck on the other side that leads into a large rental Hall or stairs down to the back lawn & beachfront. (Ramp to the beach is rather steep & may be challenging for a handicapped individual.) There's also a large overhang that live bands play on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer & a bar downstairs for convenience....
