Brian's Furniture — Local services in Westlake

We went into Brian's Furniture a few days ago at the main showroom looking for a new couch and loveseat set. We were met by Katie, who was very nice and helpful. After looking for a while and talking for a bit with both Katie and Renee, we began to gravitate towards a Norwalk set. We checked out the warehouse from Brian's (I would stick to the showroom, not sure it was worth going over) as well as several other furniture stores. We went back and were able to take home a few fabric samples. After talking with Renee about layout options and prices, we decided to order from Brian's. While expensive compared to a Levin or Bob's, you have to look at the quality difference. Our last Norwalk couch lasted nearly 20 years, where something from the other stores would probably need replacing in half that time. Back in 2009 my mother inlaw and sister inlaw purchased a beautiful table with 6 chairs. My husband inherited the table. Back in 2009 my mother inlaw was promised if she ever wanted to add a leaf it would be possible. I called, came to store, called another time.... I have been told this was impossible. I had my husband call. He gave Renee the information located at the bottom of the table. He was laughed at when asked for another leaf. We were told even of they did the leaf wouldn't match! We don't care about that! We were promised a call back on Monday.. two weeks later and we havent heard a thing! We were also interested in purchasing 4 more chairs. The promise was a lie I guess.
