Palace Supermarket — Local services in Westland

Lived super close since i was a kid and my parents would go sometimes if they saw something good in the sales ad otherwise we didn’t go out of our way to go here as the prices are a bit higher than Kroger or Walmart especially on basic general items (Milk, Faygo, produce or boxed foods) the most expensive is probably the frozen foods, unless its on sale it’s definitely one to avoid. They also dont have a deli anymore its all grab and go, which a lot of other places are doing that now too i get it, but not everyone wants their meat (turkey, ham, roast beef, salami ect) cut the same way, or may not want/need an entire pound of meat when I’m only making 2 sandwiches.

Just make sure you compare prices in the ad before you go, to make sure its worth your time! This place is good for an emergency trip to the store when cooking, especially once I’ve realized I’m out of a key ingredient. Though keep in mind they really only have basic stuff, nothing specialty...

This has happened where they have overcharged me over four times and every time I go up there they act as if it is my fault and I am the one making the prices and doing everything and that's not right I should not have to feel sorry that there system is not right they should be sorry and I should not feel intimidated to return something not knowing how they are going to act the owners are nice but the other ladies that work there are not they act as if it is a problem to make sure their customers are well taken care of it's sad I don't know if it's their way of taking advantage of the customers or what because there is a lot of elderly people who won't go back up there they will just be charged with whatever and...

yes a 1 star. if asked ill post pictures of dates of expired food on the shelf . i talked to a manager more then once . many items expired the imitation crab almost every package is expired . also steaks many of them dated not expired but when meat ages it will start turning brown . i have seen some steaks i would not feed to my dogs . all i posted is my opinion experience from shopping at the palace . wile shopping i educated a few people not to buy the steaks they had in there shopping cars its expired regardless of the...
