Applefest — Local services in Westminster

This was an absolute disgrace! What started as a family day of fun, turned into a frustrating mob scene! This event was misleading and a waste of money and time! Line after line, it really was the line festival! After 6 hours of waiting in lines we got a loop on the ski lift , we were unable to get off to see the summit, because it was getting dark we only waited two hours for that experience! They really should cap off the amount of people they let in, I can’t imagine anyone having a super fun time! Not only was this ridiculously overpacked it became a safety issue for all. No signal for staff, vendors or patrons. If there was an emergency you could not reach out for help. I couldn’t even communicate with my family, we had to spend an hour looking for each other. Apparently there was too many people that overloaded the transformer, is this even legal to have this amount of people in a location. I hope this weekend is a learning experience for the owners , and they will not repeat last years ski season that was similar to the apple fest, overbooked and lines, these conditions certainly are not In the best interests of their customers but their wallets.
