My husband and I recently had the honor of getting a memorial tattoo for our son, Grant, who we lovingly called “Grant Man”—a nod to Superman, as he was our little hero. The design features a bold, vibrant interpretation of the Superman emblem, customized with a “G” in the center, and it perfectly captures his spirit.

I couldn’t be more grateful for Tory Scruggs, the incredibly talented artist behind this beautiful piece. Tory, the owner of Story Time Tattoo, made the entire experience seamless and comfortable. From the moment we walked into his shop, I was struck by his friendly and welcoming demeanor. He made conversation feel easy and natural, which helped calm any nerves we had.

Beyond his kindness, Tory’s professionalism and artistry are unmatched. The level of detail and creativity in my tattoo exceeded all expectations, and I could tell he genuinely cares about his craft. The shop itself was spotlessly clean, and his hygienic practices were top-notch, making me feel completely safe throughout the process. I also have to mention the bathroom (TOP TIER!!!)—Tory’s hilarious decor adds such a personal touch and really reflects his fun, down-to-earth character.

We went to see Tory per a friend's recommendation. Sure glad we did. We showed him what concept we wanted and let him go ... Everything we wanted, Plus! He is so easy to talk with it was like we were old friends. The wife and I got a couple of tattoos while there. He took the feet imprints the vet gave us of our dogs that had passed and drew up a design for them and it was perfect. He did some flowers for the wife and put the feet into the design so they liked like flowers (see pics), he free hand some of the art right on her arm. It was my first time and her second time. I was a little nervous at first but Tory talks you through the whole process and you know what to expect. We are already looking into what we want on our next visit because they are as addictive as people say! The shop is nice and clean and comfortable. My Husband & I have been Married 20 years and have been wanting to get ring tattoos for a while. We met Tory & he put us at ease instantly; he also explained the possible pros/cons about certain ring tattoos, what to expect & proper aftercare. He drew up our initials which fit our style perfectly & we absolutely LOVE them!!
