I just left the Verizon store On August 21 at 6 PM. I was waiting for the second associate to get off the phone with the manager. A young white kid with ginger hair came out and I explained that I had switched over my watch and iPhone and tablet from AT&T to Verizon this afternoon at the Hingham location. I told him that I had spoke with the person who had helped me and they had said that I might need another AT&T pin as I was having issues. I showed him the text message thread with the other associate trying to trouble shoot my problem. He immediately closed out the message and said I can't help you I don't know what the other person did. You have to go to them. I said I just showed you he's saying that I need a new pin From AT&T. He goes yeah I can't help you with that, like I said I don't know what he did you have to go back to them. This is absolutely ridiculous It should not matter what location I use. I aLeo showed him the screen shot that showed that I couldn't call out with the new Verizon line. He said try to call now which I did. He said see the message went away. Again every time I try to show him a screenshot of the issue or the text message thread he would immediately close it out and tell me to go to the last Verizon storeWorst customer service ever. I will be reaching out...
Read moreThe actual visit went extremely well while I was there, very nice and seemingly helpful. I was purchasing two new phones, both "upgrades" one was a flip phone for my mother. The man helping me, Adam, claimed my mother didn't have the option for a free upgrade - her current flip phone 4 years old. So I had to buy a new flip phone no discounts, ok sure. I go home, two days later to find out my card was hacked there and I was now paying for a Mint Mobile subscription. Cancelled that and had to cancel my card with my bank and get a new one. Likely not Adam's fault, but weird nonetheless. Two days after that, mom doesn't like the new flip phone and wants a different one SO I went to the TCC - Verizon retailer in Abington this time, they tell me she shouldn't have paid anything and will get a different flip phone for free. OK so Adam in Weymouth lied to me - cool. Now two weeks later, reviewing my new bill and apparently Adam signed me up for insurance on MY new phone which I never asked for, so another item to deal with and cancel. Super sketchy sleezy salesman tactics to lie and make me pay for a phone for my mom when I didn't need to and sign me up to pay for insurance that was never discussed. AVOID Weymouth, AVOID Adam - go to...
Read moreI went to the Verizon store to see if my charger was operable. [I had been receiving messages about an incomplete connection, and was not sure if this was due to the electrical outlets in my home, since I have been going through upgrades.] The customer service rep asked me to wait, as he was working with an elderly woman. After about ten minutes, he offered to "multitask", so I asked him to check the charger. He checked only the chord, so I asked him to check the plug. He said, "you'll have to wait", so I went to sit down, and he said that if I did not like the service, I could go to another store. I did not understand why he said that, as I had already been waiting without complaint, but then he said to the elderly woman "he's not going to give me attitude, not on my watch". At that moment, I decided to call the customer service number to complain about how rude the the employee was. I did not suggest that he multitask in the first place, and was willing to wait until he had finished business with the elderly woman, but my asking him to check the plug seemed to get...
