Is it Dollar General's policy to lock the entrance 5 minutes before the posted closing time while customers are still in the store? I understand with COVID, staffing is an issue & that this particular store can't be open the hours of other stores. But to deny entry just so the staff working doesn't have to stay later than they want is, in my opinion, unprofessional. I work at a local business that will not only routinely turn registers on as late as 30 minutes after close, But will accommodate any customer's after hours calls & requests for purchases. Less than 1 year ago, I delivered heating fuel to this store even though they have never purchased from my company in the past nor have they since & they weren't able to get their normal provider to deliver.
