today I was there in the morning happy to go to my favorite place and I always say good thinks to my friends about this place and this what happened, i was trying to use my 50% off then I asked him if I used any of this coupons, and he's like oh I'm gonna take this one to since you saying you used it and I told him I did not use it. I was being sarcastic with you. I was trying to see if I use my coupon that's all and he grab the whole coupon and toss it in the garbage and when I told him OK, then I don't wanna buy nothing. Give me my coupon bags is like I'm not giving you nothing so it's like you want to use the 50% or not so I wasn't. I don't know what to do if I leave I don't use my coupon if I stay he took my other coupons so l was like OK. You know what let me talk to. The manager is like I'm the manager so l that time I don't know what to do. I wanna keep arguing with him because I feel like he has the power to do things that, only Owner does that which is I don't wanna go after I think I'm so sad that is close to my house this place I cannot come by from there no more because this guy is 3:23 • 5G: more because this guy is there. Read moreI’ve been coming to this location since 2020 and they have completely fallen off. Dispensaries are starting to become Walgreens/CVS. I came in and the receptionist told me I needed to place an order. I said I wanted a recommendation from an advisor. He said “I can help you.” Well, They’re not educating their employees properly. I came in today looking for extract. I specifically wanted a Rosin badder and told the employee which one. No issue. I then said I was looking for a recommendation for a hybrid, resin, either badder or budder but something uplifting and euphoric. Rev has so many strains I’ve never tried, so I hoped an employee of their brand would have so insight on their products. He proceeded to recommend something his coworkers been suggesting. Nothing wrong with that. But his coworkers recommendation was Hybrid Love Triangle. He suggested that, even though that specific strain only came in rosin or jelly. I told him I wanted badder or budder. He said the rosin is a badder. I told him I don’t want that because I was looking for a hybrid resin. He said they are the same thing. I personally have never had a dispensary advisor tell me a solvent-less product is the same as a solvent product. Not only that, but he then asked if I wanted a jelly after I said I wanted a budder or a badder. He then told me to look at the menu while he went back to being a receptionist. Meanwhile, the advisors are sitting behind the register not doing anything. Besides the horrible personal experience, this location no longer values medical patients. The location was renovated to separate med and rec patients. That no longer applies. I guess the only plus side to coming here is everything is always on sale 30-40% off. I wonder why? Read moreThis was my first time going to enlightened. I had just received my medical card and this was the first medical Marijuana dispensary I'd been to. I was not impressed, first of all they didn't have anything with more CBD then a 2:1 ratio and I really need something with more! I thought that being a medical dispensary they would have more to offer with CBD! I wasn't given any type of care there, and when I'd try to ask the ONE guy upfront anything he was too busy with the others coming into the building to really give me any helpful answers to my questions (ENLIGHTENED REALLY NEEDS MORE STAFF). Why was there only one person doing everything up front anyways?! Then I hear one guy say he'd been sitting around for 20 minutes, which makes me believe even more so that they need more staff! I found a quote from the owner.... "Enlightened delivers exceptional service so you can make the most informed decisions on your cannabis journey. "Talk to a local budtender to learn more about cannabis strains, methods of consumption, therapeutic benefits and more at an Enlightened dispensary near you." When reading it I thought... if what he said were true to each enlightened dispensary ( I went to the mount prospect location, so I'm really just talking about this one) then I wouldn't have felt stuck purchasing things I didn't want at Enlightened just because I really needed the money I would save by using my medical card. I feel upset and a bit angry that I took all the time and money to get the medical card, knowing I wouldn't be able to use it at Zen Leaf and had to go to a medical dispensary. They told me the only one they knew of around here was Enlightened.
