I arrived shortly after noon and it was packed. It looked like the line to pay was moving pretty efficiently so I took my time shopping. I put 8 large hibiscus plants on my cart and about a dozen perennials and grasses on the top rack of my cart. My cart quickly tallied up to over $250. As I approached the checkout I noticed carts full of flowers were being left by customers. I finally approached the cashier with three different possible credit cards and the cashier informed me that they do not except credit cards, AT ALL and to drive up the street to Richardson’s where I can find an ATM machine

Thankfully I had $40 cash for a rainy day stashed in my wallet. Sadly I put back all but 2 hibiscus plants, $42.00 I not only was angry about leaving most of my order behind, I was really concerned about the full carts piling up near the cashiers and customers leaving empty handed. The prices of small annuals are better than anything we've seen elsewhere. They do not take credit cards. You have to pay with a personal check or in cash--but it's worth it! We've been buying our annuals & tropical plants there for over ten years. Every single thing we've bought has leapt up in size. Generally x3 or x4 within 3-4 weeks. Would like to think sherry for help . I bought 2 shrubs from them for some reason shrubs went bad I spoke to sherry told her what happened showed her pictures this was last year 2021 she wasn’t sure what type plant but told me to check back with her early 2022 would make good on shrubs I did this in march spoke to sherry told me she was waiting for shrubs to come in she told me would call me which she did . I came in met with sherry she helped me pick out 2 shrubs no problem . I’ve been buying plants from md flowers for over 5 years because there selections and prices are very good .
