Horrible. Just horrible. Worst post housing we have ever seen at any post we've ever been sent to. The ladies in the office don't answer their phones. They don't respond to e-mails. They disappear during the daytime and don't tell anyone - they throw up a closed sign and will be gone during lunch hour which is the only time us military have to go to their office... but you won't find them there. Their maintenance is a joke, aside from Dennis & Luis who actually tried to fix stuff. Everything has been super neglected in their homes and none of the Columbia have yards even though their photos show so. The website photos are at least 15-20 years old I have been told by the long-time residents. They let non-military people live on base who have zero connection to post. Every yard and public space is full of gopher holes, snake holes, goat heads (some horrible thistle/burr like thing that grows out here), there's like 8 trees in housing, the houses are falling apart, your mail will go missing, packages will say 'delivered' but no one knows where they are. The housing office will blame you as a tenant for literally anything even if you've never had an issue with any housing before. 0/10 would not recommend and orders couldn't come fast enough for us...

Absolutely terrible experience with White Sands Homes. I would give zero stars if possible. While stationed overseas, I mailed an application check with no application in preparation for my PCS. While the check was in transit, my travel orders changed. I kindly asked WSH to shred my check, as I would no longer be able to reside there. WSH went ahead and cashed my check (with no application) claiming it was a non-refundable application fee. How can you claim an application fee with NO application??? Terribly disappointed in my experience. UPDATE 11/14: It has been over two weeks, and I still have not received any contact from WSH. Do not be fooled. They claim they will follow-up, but never do. My issue is still unresolved. UPDATE 12/11: It has been over a month, and the issue is not resolved. No follow-up or contact. UPDATE 2/14: Has been well over several months now. Still no resolution or follow-up. UPDATE 7/11: Still no resolution...

Try calling them.... They say theyre opened but really they're not. They will never answer their phones and will take forever to do maintenance on your home. But are quick to leave notices on your door about your lawn having weeds that aren't...
