Woofs has been my husky/malamute mixed (circus) daycare for at least 2 years now or more. The last daycare we had circus at literally lost her once, had her in a kennel most of the day without our knowledge even though we paid for full play days, and muzzled her without our knowledge when getting groomed once. We were hesitant to allow her to go to any daycare after that but when Woofs opened their location out west we went to check it out and instantly got her back into daycare at woofs. We have NEVER had any issues with woofs. Circus loves going every day to see her friends and that's including staff and puppers. The staff treat Circus as if she is their own and always calls me to let me know if she seems to be having an off day or isn't feeling well. Woofs staff is very alert and responsible when handling the dogs. They know Circus very well and I appreciate everything they do for her whether it's celebrating her birthday, giving her her meds when she needs them, making sure she has the opportunity to eat her packed lunch everyday, ect. I feel very comfortable leaving her at woofs play and stay during the week, on the weekends when she wants to go, and when I'm out of town. I know they have cameras you can watch and even though I'm subscribed to it, I rarely watch because I have a sense of comfort with woofs that she is okay. I don't ever recall a moment of being scared for her safety while at woofs. I know sometimes she can be moody but the staff always makes sure she has more than enough breaks when needed. I always recommend everyone at least try woofs once or twice before saying no or reading any negative reviews and making a decision without at least checking woofs out because it is worth it to allow your fur babies to play at woofs. The staff is very friendly and intelligent when working with the fur babies. Grooming is wonderful they are very gentle with Circus and she is obsessed now with spa days. Nothing...
Read moreWe LOVE going to Woof's! Kenzie gets SO excited when I ask her if she wants to go for a ride to daycare, and the staff are all just so sweet and attentive. We've used them for dayplay, nightstay, and grooming at this point and have loved each experience.
The online reservation requests are so easy, and I appreciate the estimate generation feature. The lobby area is bright and adorable and obviously decorated by dog lovers, and every staff member has been kind, competent, and so loving to our pup.
It's never easy to pick a place to take care of your fur baby when you're travelling, but Woof's helped take the stress out of that decision. The first time we ever boarded Kenzie was for a 9 day vacation, and the staff picked up easily on the fact that it was my first time ever being without her for that long. They sent extra pupdates throughout our trip, which I absolutely loved.
We use the regular package for nightstay, mostly because Kenzie's size and ability to sleep absolutely anywhere means she'll be in a large kennel and be able to sleep just fine.
Kenzie is a big girl with a lot of fluff, so heat isn't her favorite. One day when we dropped her at daycare, it ended up getting over 100 degrees that day. She played a little too hard and got a little overheated, but the staff called me IMMEDIATELY and kept calling with updates. They took her inside to lay in front of a fan with a pack leader with a bowl of water. By the time I picked her up after work, she was back to being her goofy happy self. I love that they knew what to do and that they kept me in the loop!
The attached photo is the derpy picture (her fault, not theirs) they sent us on her birthday!! They had the bandana ready to go and...
Read moreI will never bring my dog here again, the first encounter gal I talked to was super reassuring and sweet. However not even 20 minutes after dropping my 7 month old Saint Bernard off , I get a phone call saying he’s too aggressive with other dogs and that once I neuter him then he’s welcome back. Well, first of all, he’s not aggressive by all means, his bestfriend is a bird, and he’s been around other dogs his entire life. Also, if you know anything about large breed dogs, is you cannot get them fixed before 18 months old or it stunts their growth and hurts them in the long run. He is a big puppy that doesn’t know his size. His “playing” is pouncing around and barking. And I told this to the first employee I spoke with and she assured me that she would let them know. I paid the $5 to watch the live cam too ensure he was taken care of and playing okay. I sat and watched my dog “play” like he does with every other dog he encounters . They only gave him (not even) 10 minutes before they decided to remove the dog. His bark is loud yes, but if you would just watch, he never opens his mouth near a dog, he is just vocal. Clearly they cannot handle large breed puppies, and don’t give them a chance to settle down or even get to know the dog before declaring that they are aggressive. They automatically assume that because they put a female dog in with him, (that appeared to be half his size) that his problem is he needs neutered. Let me also add that he has been around female dogs that aren’t spayed, so maybe their female was in heat and if that’s the case, (whether she’s fixed or not) why would you put a dog that’s in heat...
