You won't find a shop in town with better knowledge and selection for MTG singles. They have plenty of board games and other hobby products, but their MTG expertise is where this place really shines.
The owner started the business years ago because he wanted a place to play cards with his friends, and nowhere else really had the right atmosphere. Today, Mana Vault keeps that fantastic atmosphere and treats every single customer like they're old friends. It's a place to go and play with your friends, or to make new ones.
From a knowledge standpoint, I can count on one finger the number of times I've been able to stump the owner on cards from the game's 25+ year history. And if you're wanting that effect, here are 3 or 4 other cards that do similar things or synergize really well." And he hires people with the same love and knowledge.

Read moreHonestly the worst shop in town. No tables to play at or anywhere to sit even while you wait 45 minutes for them to pull your list of cards that you had to wait in a queue to get. They overcharge on cards because they go by Star City Games prices that no one else goes by in the city except one other shop. No music and they don't interact with you outside of asking you what you want. Stone faced with zero emotion and act like it's a chore to help you. They have zero selection practically for sealed products and are constantly out of stock on them. Overpriced items in the cases as well. Only reason I gave them two stars is because they have decent playmats and they have a big inventory of cards. While I understand why they keep everything alphabetized I'm one of those people that likes to look through binders and discover cards I like so having it set up like this is boring and no fun. Go to Mopigs, or One Drop Game Shop instead, far better people and way...
