CDOT Rest Area: Wiggins — Local services in Wiggins

Update to my last post under a different account. I can't edit my last post or write a new review. As I was finishing my last post and about to leave. The creepy man passed my car for a third time. When I looked up he was across from me just staring. When I noticed he aggressively backed and parked right next to me. I asked him if he had a problem and just stared at me. I made it clear I had a weapon to defend myself but didn't faze him one bit. So i immediately left. That's when he backed up and parked next to a red van and stared into thier vehicle. He then backed up and started to leave. I wish i was able to take a picture of him and his vehicle but im not sure what he would have done. I hope CDOT sees these reviews and checks thier cameras and reports him to the authorities before someone gets hurt. He had a white pickup truck, driver side door had a dent, he was wearing what look like hunting gear sweatshirt with jeans and a baseball cap. I will never go there again and warn everyone...

Cons: Like other areas of the "high plains" it usually smells. Amarillo, west Kansas, and parts of Nebraska, South Dakota. This is not the rest area that smells. That's just how the land smells with so many cattle living around. Another downside is that the train rolls through every 3-4 hours. If you're not a heavy sleeper or very tired, you're likely to have bad sleep with those trains. Watch out for snakes! Pros: There's usually always a place to park no matter what. If the rest area fills up (which I've never seen happen), there's a truck stop next door. On top of that, things are lax around here where you could make a couple parks on side streets and it would not be a big deal. The restrooms are always clean and stocked. Next door has a barebones restaurant, it's nothing special but it will fill you up and you won't have to eat chips and cold sandwiches.

I've been here a few times but today I was creeped out. While in the men's stall a man kept trying to open my door and slide his foot under the door several times. When I left he stared at me the whole time. I went to my car to rest and saw the guy go into the bathroom every time someone new went to the bathroom. He did this several times. Too young girls went into the bathroom while thier parent stayed in the car and I immediately started walking to thier parent to warn them but the guy came out and went back to his truck. When he saw me he got out of his truck and went back into the bathroom. He finally left but as I was writing this review he came back and past close to my car 2 times. and left again. Anyone who reads this please be safe and don't let your children go in unattended. He's now stalking me. He has a white truck and he's a heavy set man with a beard. He looks like a...
