Turtle Mound Golf course at The Villages is a nice little par 3, 9 hole course designed for beginners, really, but can still provide interest to experienced golfers as well.
Turtle Mound Golf course is open to all residents of The Villages, but the "free" golf for life is a bit misleading. There are cart fees, so unless you walk the course, be prepared to dig into your wallet. Also, be prepared to dress decently, including collared shirts for men. Read moreTruman golf course is rated a number 4, which is the most difficult. The holes are much longer on this course, the shortest hole is about 112 yards. You can expect 1 par 4 that is 318 yards from the gold and over water of course! It is a very pretty course and has 4 water shots which can ALMOST be avoided by going green. In the summertime after 1:30 you can expect to have the course to yourselves because it is a tough one in the heat! The course has water along the path and 3 restrooms. Have fun on this great course!
