Gotta LOVE Kuhn’s! Locally owned. Great quality produce! Excellent meat department. Wonderful take away food!! Also on Fridays some if the best fish sandwiches you’ll ever eat!! I love the size & charm of this “little grocery store that could!” My only complaint? Kuhn’s you could work on training your young cashiers to be personable with your customers!! You have one young man in particular who doesn’t make eye contact, heck, he didn’t acknowledge me in ANY WAY AT ALL! I TRIED TO BE FRIENDLY & even joke with him a little…but he want just wasn’t friendly-like at all!! So all through your store I’m thinking of what a great store Kuhn’s is-clean, well-stocked-VERY Friendly & personable guy working the take away food counter! Then I get to the checkout, greeted by a sullen teenager!! Not good! That took away from my whole experience! I could go to Giant Eagle & get that attitude all day long! Please Kuhn’s-I REALLY LIKE your store!! You gotta fix this! The cashiers need to be trained to be your stores “ambassadors!” Good luck! The store was nice and clean despite the current situation however, most employees were miserable. We have lived here for 17 years, we have a neighbor who raves about your store so we finally went today and this was our first and last visit. We signed up the Kuhns savings card and our elderly cashier complained (non stop) even asking me which employee sent me to her, she complained about having to take it to the counter meanwhile another cashier asked us to give it to her. We bought lottery tickets, stood at the counter while an employee read a magazine, I walked around and she grumbled that I was at the wrong window and directed me back to where I was previously waiting. I know things are tough and I appreciate they are there risking their own health for us however, I was pleasant, face and hands covered, kept my distance and still had miserable customer service. I have placed two orders from their deli / prepared foods section this month, and both have been mishandled.

In the first instance, the person taking the order (Joe) recorded the incorrect date to prepare the order. And that was despite confirming multiple times on the phone.

The second installment of frustration came when the employees “just lost track of time” and failed to have my order prepared on time. And that was despite my calling over an hour in advance of the pick up time to confirm the order’s status. I was assured that it would be ready, but it was not.

If service is not reliable, it is useless. So if you’re a responsible human and are trying to plan events upon which others rely, DO NOT ENGAGE WITH KUHN’S PREPARED FOOD SERVICE. You will be...
