This has always been my go-to store, close to home and super convenient. But ever since they got rid of self-checkout it's been a nightmare!
I know a lot of people complained about self checkout, but personally, I loved it. I could run in, get what I needed, quickly check myself out, and leave. But now they only have ONE register with ONE cashier, and there's ALWAYS a long line of people. I feel like this store is just too busy to only staff one cashier per shift, plus have them out on the floor trying to stock stuff. That's not fair to the customers OR the employees.
Why can't we have the option of both? Open self checkout for those of us who prefer it, and make sure a cashier is available for those who don't. I'm not sure why the self checkouts were removed but I hope they reconsider and...
Read moreWent in to pick up a few birthday cards. 2 self checkouts open ONLY. 3rd in line. Lady at counter having problems & employee attempting to help her. Employee says to use other check out so lady in front notices you can only use a card at it. She walked out & left her 2 items behind. Employee got lady taken care of so I went to check my 3 cards out when the employee snaps at me ‘ITS NOT WORKING!’ Being I stood in line a good 10 minutes, I left the cards on the counter where the employee COULD have checked me out. Read moreThe store over all has a good selection of items but the lack of customer service and the forced self checkout is really hurting the experience of shopping here. There is rarely anyone working a register and the employees are unfriendly if you try to approach them for assistance . There have been many occasions I have went back thinking it was just someone having a busy day but it just continues to be an issue.
