Rest Area — Local services in Williamstown

I've made the trip from Elkins, WV to Canton/Akron, OH roughly 200 times now, I'm sure. This rest area has quickly became my PREFERRED STOP in between. The location is very convenient, being NEXT TO a GAS station. One of the biggest pluses for me here is that the LIGHTING is GOOD compared to other stops along 77 I've tried. Surprisingly, it's never that busy when I stop at random hours during my trips to visit family. It's almost too quiet in there sometimes. It's a very large rest area with some room to stretch your legs. There's also a restaurant right behind the gas station, but as far as I know, it's just about all that's right...

A very nice place to stop for a stretch and bathroom break. There is lots of area around to walk, stretch and plenty of parking available. The center itself is large and nice. The bathrooms are kept clean. The staff was incredibly helpful when I walked in with my young child and one of the sides of the women's restroom was closed the man cleaning told me there was a family restroom just down around a corner which was so much more convenient to have my children with me and not have to worry as much about them running around without me. Best rest area we have stopped at. Fenced area, divided fir small and large dogs, where dogs can run off leash. Ours loved getting out and running. After they had a nice run and water break, it was out turn. Restrooms were very clean and well stocked. Plenty of brochures if you were looking for things to do. We were just passing through.
