This "stylist" Alexis clearly doesn't like new business. I had an event I needed to get my hair done for. I scheduled the appt online. Then out of courtesy DM'd her to let her know that I have difficult hair that takes longer to blow out, so she could schedule the next client accordingly. She ignored me for a week and I had to contact her again by text because my event was two days away. She said her father was having heart problems, I sent her a heartfelt reply, and didn't even get a response at all. I'm truly sorry for what happened with your dad, but I've been there many times myself (both of my parents have severe heart problems involving hospitalizations and surgeries), and I wouldn't ignore work, clients, and responsibilities for a week. A short explanation would be sent. Not necessarily the same day, but absolutely unacceptable to ignore completely and only reply because I contacted a second time a whole week later, when it was almost time for my appt. Plus her two replies were just super dry and came off rude, when I was being very nice in mine, and accommodating. I had seen her replies to people on Instagram and how she was super sweet to every comment, and it was like she was purposely being short with me.
Day of the appt and my event, (I'm disabled btw), I was running literally 10 min late due to not feeling well and being in pain, so I texted and let her know and said hope that's ok. She had the actual nerve to tell me not to come and that she had a tight schedule, knowing full well I had an event that late afternoon. Absolutely ridiculous. So you can have an emergency and ignore me completely, but I can't be 10 min late. Everyone has a tight schedule, sometimes things happen. Unbelievable. Ruined everything for me. Stay away from her.
Update Stop replying to my review on your other account with your ridiculous excuses and own up to your rudeness. You really were pretty enough to say that I texted that I would be 15 min late lol and that I didn't tell you I was disabled. Um I said I had medical issues and wasn't feeling well. Wow. Heartless. And yeah I was giving extra 5 min just in case, but would have been 10 if we have to split hairs. You could've said you'd take me if it was 10. Something. Nope just texted another cold and rude reply.
Oh and your reply to ignoring me for a week included the excuse of you not seeing my DM until the night before I texted you and it slipping your mind. Sure, that doesn't seem like a lie at all. Didn't see your DMs for a whole week. Right. Makes me wonder if you just didn't want me as a client and purposely tried to drive me away, whether it was because you didn't like how I looked, or didn't like my last name. Or you're just a fake who picks and chooses who to be nice to. Either way, you treated me badly and this was my experience and my feelings on...
Read moreIf i could rate this place a zero i would. I came in for a hair appt about 2 weeks ago with confidence that i would get a balayage done and a hair cut .... What i didnt realize is that the girl who did my hair left me with highlights all over ( not at ALL) what i asked for and completely ruined the shirt (bleached through the cape) i wore in too my appt . At the end of sitting 5hrs to do my hair she dried it and was not obviously happy because she didnt do a balayage ... I asked her to grab a manager( AMANDA ) or some sort of boss to figure the situation out. I showed her my obviously ruined shirt and the botch job the person in her salon did to me... She said she would fix it and then i expressed to her my concern about my shirt (that is now ruined and in the trash ) She told me they dont cover clothes being ruined . I ASKED again if this is a normal way she conducts business in her shop( Amanda the co owner) then rolls her eyes at me and says how much was the shirt? Two weeks later after a few back and forths between her through texts she then decides she will not fix my hair and asks me for MORE money to fix her EMPLOYEE'S MESS UP. I decline and try to get her to rectify the situation and she tells my im disrespectful and wont fix my hair. I WOULD WARN PEOPLE TO AVOID THIS "SALON" AT ALL COSTS . BTW I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR MY HAIR . I was so down to give it another chance but apparntly this is how the salon runs their businesses. Never payed to fix the shirt they ruined ....
Read moreAfter just moving to the Willis area, I needed to find a new stylist. I made several phone calls for appnts at 2 places that went unreturned, got one haircut that was just a trim, tried being a walk-in at two places where I stood in the lobby for 15 min unacknowledged and was turned away at the other because only two stylists showed up for work that day. Then I got a semi-hack job at another local salon. Mind you, all of these places had decent reviews!! I nervously called Salon Bei'Elle (again, great reviews) to hopefully find someone that could fix the haircut. Cinnamon booked me in for the very next morning. She did an AWESOME job cutting and blending the choppy mullet that I feared I would be stuck trying to grow out. Totally impressed with her and VERY Thankful she could work some magic! I will be booking my appointments with her from now on. My search for a stylist is over...Thank You Cinnamon!! (BTW, this place has THE most comfortable wash station...
