Customer service generally is good. The store location in Williston is convienent. I bought my 1982 Toyota truck brand new and take really good care of my vehicles and know them well. Although it is getting really old buying part after part that doesn't fit properly. Each one needed some sort of modification to accomplish the task. The last four parts were Duralast. The clutch slave cylinder needed the two mount bolt holes to be drilled out larger for the bolts to go in straight and mount securely. Just recently, the ignition switch wiring harness was not made up properly to fit easily, had to cut some heat shrink back to help lengthen the safety switch portion of the harness and had to cut pieces of plastic out of the steering column itself to allow wires to reach connector under the dash. Also the new ignition module has much smaller thread size than the original one had. Thus the four original screws that were totally reusable could not be used to remount the coil back down to the ignition module. Ran all around to find those extremely small metric screw to no avail. So I had to drill and tap larger holes to accomplish what should be such a simple task. That probably does away with my warranty? What is it with these new age engineers that they can't get such a simple task correct? It effects everyone down the line. I'm writing this in hopes that it will help the next person and hope this information goes all the way to the top because it is unacceptable. I did share this info on paper with the on duty store manager, Larry, a few days ago. He was receptive to make progress in this area. It's not just the automotive industry its many other things too. The quality and attention to detail is surely waning in this country. I have seen it go from what used to be good 50+ years ago to hard to work with and unacceptable nowadays. As a machinist by trade and diesel mechanic it is a shame to see the direction things have been going. I have been with Autozone since it opened, although because of the unnecessary hassle with Duralast I will now be looking for another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCim & Brandon went above and beyond to help my nephew get his radio installed in his truck. Customer service at its finest and all with a smile and willingness to to help that did not go unnoticed. Everyone in the store was very helpful but these two truly made sure his radio was installed correctly and I would be willing to bet my nephew learned some valuable information that will be with him a lifetime. My deepest thanks for taking time to help my nephew even when one of them was on their own time but came to ensure it was done properly. If I could give this store and the team from today a 10 it still wouldnt be quite enough! What great attitudes and the willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you so much!! You made a young mans...
