I recently had the pleasure of visiting CrossFit Vokse in Williston, ND, and was blown away by my experience. The gym is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment and is kept incredibly clean and well-maintained. I had the opportunity to work out there twice as a guest, and the facilities exceeded my expectations. The Co-Owners, Kallie and Travis, are amazing, and have a clear vision to improve the quality of life in Williston. Their passion for helping people become better versions of themselves is evident in how they run their gym. They welcome everyone, from kids as young as 6 to adults of all ages and fitness levels. One thing that sets CrossFit Vokse apart is its commitment to inclusivity. They are an all-inclusive facility and are always looking for ways to accommodate anyone interested in joining. While they don't currently have a disabled class, they are open to providing a space if interested. Another unique feature of CrossFit Vokse is their InBody 570 bioelectrical impedance analysis scanner, the only one in the Williston community. This technology provides accurate body composition analysis and can help members track their progress over time. Overall, I highly recommend CrossFit Vokse to anyone looking for a welcoming, inclusive gym with top-notch facilities and knowledgeable owners. It's clear that Kallie and Travis are passionate about their work, and I can't wait to...
Read moreIn June 2020, by chance, I happened on this gym. I was delivering a product order next door & since it was summer, the gym door was wide open & I happened to recognize a friendly face, Miss Toby! I was intrigued, asked a few question & she handed me the owner’s, (Travis & Kalli) business card. After a quick phone call, I was scheduled for the next on-ramp program. NOW…I have always wanted to join a gym, but living 20 miles out of town, used that as my excuse. However, I had just turned 40 & was tired of being out of shape after having two babies. Getting used to the early mornings was an adjustment, the movements were definitely not familiar & I would skip the days of a movement that would frustrate me. Here’s what happened: the coaches encouraged me, helped me with my form & pushed me when they knew I could do more (and let’s face it…I knew I could do more too)! And eventually the movements (even the frustrating movements) became easier all because the coaches showed me to trust the process. EVEN BETTER, I started loving it so much that my then 74 year old neighbor, who couldn’t stand from a kneeling position, started to join me! After 2 years, he is able to do burpees, jumps rope with increased balance & keeps up with the “younger” guys during hunting season.
