Groom and Sons' (where Tawakoni Lumber used to be on Hwy 276 in West Tawakoni) has been this small town locals 'day-saver' more than once. The store more often than not, most likely, has whatever part/piece/tool/kit/cleaner etc. that you're needing or searching for. All of the employees that I have interacted with have been sensibly knowledgeable about the inventory available, are generous with their assistance in finding what you need, have had great attitudes, and even my doggo (myself being a responsible pet owner only publicly socializing a healthy, fully vaccinated, obedient animal) has always been welcomed to shop alongside me, showing-off her sweet manners and listening skills for treats from the staff, while I grab what I need. The convenience and experience as a customer, is worth 'the expense' to shop local. 10/10...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a way to run a business. Unacceptable. Went in on Monday ordered sheetrock and a door that I cannot haul on a 2001 Kia Rio. I will not be back to this don't give a damn about your order because it is small. Spent almost $170.00 with them. Not...

He came out with a length of cord and made a loop knot in it. Coaxed it through the rear upper corner of the door, eased the knot down over the door lock knob, pulled hard on both ends of the cord which tightened the knot on the knob, pulled up, presto the knob popped up and open! Slickest trick I ever saw. I always give them my money before...
