Thank you Amazon! First you donât want truckers arriving before 15 - 20 minutes before appt time. Then, once we arrive it is discovered that Amazon had decided the day before to initiate their new check in portal. What a joke. The people operating this process are remote and are almost impossible to understand. They are confused and have no clue as to how to check a driver in. So they have you pull into the âneed assistanceâ lot while a live human driving the yard dog comes over and gets you checked in. Once In and unloaded, good luck getting back out. I sat at the same ridiculous gate for 20 minutes talking to a woman who isnât t even on property and who couldnât let me out because I was not attached to an Amazon trailer. I asked her how she could let me in but canât let me out. At this point, what ever amount of English she could speak prior, she suddenly spoke no English.
Because of Amazon wanting to be woke and cater to the crowd who believes human interaction is a sin. You (Amazon) have shown you have no regard to the human(s) that deliver merchandise to your warehouse. You donât care about appt that we humans who drive trucks have to make once we leave your Fort Knox. I had two other drops after I finally successfully negotiated my release from your prison of a portal. Late for both thanks to your inability to test your new toy on your own drivers prior to forcing it on us OTR drivers. You expect your products to be delivered on time and so do our other customers, yet here you are playing God, and dictating rather we can carry on with our business and make money.
Sorry excuse of a check in system you have. Short term people making long term decisions that impact the very people who help supply your businessâŚlet that sink I. A minute.
I wonât return to any of...
Read moreAmazon does need to work on this warehouse management, check in not easy at this place. agents are working inside always misguide and then call driver and blame on them. really hard to understand their language while checked in. they said parked at 614 parking spot and we'll call you for door. they call after two hours and said you supposed to come in side of the building for check in. they told me take dock door 315 and drop trailer and detached truck and move 2 feet away from trailer, then they called me about 2 hours later and told me that they can't unload me until I parked my truck in empty parking spot. this is crazy they think they can manipulate systems. they are giving trouble to the drivers just for slow down their job process. it's like they are getting pay by hours and they don't wanna go faster for unloading process. afraid to deal with Agents, every time they call from different number and when you diel back those numbers none of them is working. it's like they are using web generated numbers. it's scary to move freight for them you never know they gonna pay or not. high risk of payment. due to everything they do online. no one you can...

You can arrive an hour to 30 mins early for your appointment.
I arrived at 8:30pm for my 9pm appointment. Already 5 trucks ahead, took 30 mins to get to the front of line. I checked in on kiosk, (the only issue I had with the kiosk is the Indian person accent checking me in) once youâre checked in with kiosk it will tell you your dock door and where to go.
10:35pm, I got a call from warehouse worker to open trailer doors, slide tandems to rear is optional, put my bills in trailer, back into door, dolly down, disconnect, bobtail to parking spot straight ahead from my dock door. 12:10am, I got a green light. (Nobody will call you when youâre unloaded, you have to watch out for a green light) I attached back to my trailer, my bills were in my trailer and signed. Closed my trailer doors and headed back towards entrance. I exited and had to check out with kiosk again. Gave my trailer number,...
