Gracie's Village Shops — Local services in Wilson

I will NOT shop at this store anymore. Every time I have shopped here, one of the employees is constantly watching over every move you make, stays in what I feel is my personal space, and constantly asks to hold your items the second you pick something up. It's like she thinks every time someone picks something up they're going to steal it. There's a difference between asking to hold an item if it seems too heavy to carry around or if I am already holding a ton of things at once. She didn't just do this to me, but every other customer as well while I was there. When I brought up my experience to a friend of mine, I was told the same employee had asked if she was stealing while she was walking around looking. It doesn't make customers feel very welcome when you have someone constantly watching over you and asking to hold every single item you pick up the SECOND you walk in because she thinks you're going to steal it. This shop does sell nice products but I will be sure to purchase them from someone else or order online instead of giving this place any more of my money. I won't ever be...

I went yesterday . I have been so excited to go here. Because my daughter an friends have bought so many beautiful things from here. I got a gift card to go for my birthday . Yesterday I finally had time to go an look . One of the worst experiences of my life. There a older lady there would not let me look around. Keep trying to rush me out the door. I never really got to look at what I wanted. I felt Degraded the way she acted. I bought something I really don’t know if I even wanted to just get out of there.Every time I ask a price her answer was that’s expensive. She would stand in front of every thing is was trying to look at. I will never go back that for sure. I just want to thank her for making a very exciting time...

Similar to other comments, they do follow you around in the store especially if you are a person of color. You would think being in a more modern time this type of behavior would be non-existent but it’s not. It’s a cute boutique with many neat items, however, since they treat customers like this then I do not recommend shopping here. I recommend taking your hard-earned money to another boutique that treats their customers better than this but definitely...
