Rustic location and way overpriced. Everything is an add-on. Here's a port-a-potty. By the way, if you want to use the real toilets that we have... you get to pay extra. No wedding event should have to use a single port-a-potty. How disgusting.
Parking lot is a gravel area with no distinction as to break up spaces, it's just free for all. You've got 1 or 2 spots with the handicap sign.
The arches were a pretty spot for pictures and the wedding ceremony. The tent are is not very spacious and it takes up the only area that's not grass or forest floor. Be sure to have guests not wear stilettos as you'll sink right in.
It would be good if they had a path form the parking lot to the dance/reception floor area. Even though they have "ADA" port-a-potty and the two parking spots, it would be very difficult for any guests in a wheelchair or those who use a walker.
If you're having an even there be sure to have balloons or signs to put up as the place doesn't have a great sign to let you know you're at the right spot. It's easy to drive past. Nothing said Kohl Creek Golf or even something close. It said they do events on a wood sign near the parking lot. Again, a gravel space with no organization of spaces. It could fit a decent number of cars if they park well but I could easily see a situation where people are blocked in. And you don't get overflow parking. You can't park on the two lane road this...
Read moreLet Me start by saying I’m a big fan of the country nine. I have played Sandelie West many times in the past and always found it a good experience never crowded. It had been closed for a while and was happy to hear that it was open again didn’t think much about the fact that it had a new name we showed up the nine holes have been changed to six and that’s where the troubles began. I’m not sure why they change the 9 to 6 and why they changed some of the holes that could’ve been left alone like the new number four. They really should say upfront that the course is really not in great shape and play it at your own risk the low price was great but they really should let people know that the Fairways and the greens are not close to being what they should be. I’m also not sure why they change the clubhouse giving the impression that it might be an OK experience they should put the money into the golf course first . They have the room for nine holes and I know it means extra maintenance but most people are going to want to play at least 96 holes doesn’t seem like it’s worth driving out and doing. I wish them luck but several things are going to have to change...
Read moreA good price for 9 holes of golf. The “manager” was on my party of 4 for staying on time, even though the party in front of us tee off late. This guy came around and talked to us 2-3 different times. We were teeing off before the group behind us was still on the fairway. He would sit there while we were teeing off then trying to talk with us to keep it moving. We finished our 9 holes in 1 hr and 45 mins. Don’t schedule as many people if you’re just going to drive around and hound people to keep up the pace. Not the best experience and probably wouldn't recommend.
Update 7/20/25: We stayed under the 2 hr time frame they wanted and the guy keeping track of time was unprofessional and a jerk so if that’s part of his job to keep people moving and make them not want to come back then he’s...
