Initial contact was made with Tommy. He said he pulled our house up on Zillow to pull sq footage and all that. I know the zillow listing was accurate because we were checking it regularly (we were very excited about our home purchase). We had a date scheduled and had to adjust it a little as our closing was delayed.

Once the date for the cleaning came out (a Monday I think), they sent ONE person to deep clean a 3500 sq ft home. Eventually a second cleaner showed up for about an hour, but they didn't even get halfway done. We got the auto-schedule email that day for another cleaning the next day (Tuesday). Tuesday came, no cleaners showed up, and we got an auto-schedule email about a cleaning yet again the next day (Wednesday).

My wife called the office to see when exactly they were coming out, and the lady who answered was VERY rude. Claimed to have been calling all day while yesterday with no answer (despite them having an employee here who could have just, you know, talked to us or whatever) and never bothered to double check the phone number (which they should have had correct, because Tommy had called me at that number) which was wrong in their system. The lady also told us that they thought our house was only 2k sq ft so only sent one person (again, Zillow correctly shows 3500) and claimed that the price we agreed to pay was too low for the size of the house. She told us we need to give them a list of priorities and they'll do what they have time for.

I still don't feel like we got all that we paid for (floors not mopped, loads of dust in certain places) but am tired of dealing with Merry Maids. The cleaners that were here did a very good job on what they cleaned, and this is no fault of theirs as they didn't have the time or manpower needed. This negative review is entirely due to the lack of communication, failure to take responsibility, and the terrible attitude the lady gave my wife. We switched to Merry Maids from our previous cleaning crew. They are extremely thorough and very professional. The crew members are great to talk to and are helpful with any questions or concerns. Each cleaning they put extra focus on two areas that need additional attention based on what they see each time they are here. Their bi-weekly cleaning pricing is perfect for our budget. I am disabled and their team is greatful to help in any way they can. They even offer to bring in packages that have been delivered while they are there if I am unable to. My wife and I are very happy and greatful that we are using Merry Maids as our cleaning service. You will not be disappointed with them if you decide to use their services. They truely go above and beyond.

Merry Maids in general do a good job. In fact, I've used them for my mother in PA for years now and they are fabulous.

I was with Merry Maids several years ago but had to stop the service for financial reasons. When I could resume regular cleaning services, I contacted them for a new estimate and was VERY pleased to find they had added a Monthly option. So I have them come once a month.

Patti is my regular lady (sometimes she has someone with her, sometimes not). She's just amazing and does such a good job. She comes in, greets my dog (who tries to convince her he's terribly neglected and oh please love me). She gets the boys' bedrooms and bathrooms cleaned (no small feat!) and manages to make my house NOT look like I have four cats and a dog and two kids.
