Monadnock Speedway — Local services in Winchester

We have been coming here from CT for years and always enjoy the friendly people and atmosphere. Normally, the drivers are respectful to each other and the track officials are quick to respond to any mishaps.

That is, until tonight. The last race of the night was 40 laps run by the Modifieds. This race was an absolute disgrace both to the Speedway and other classes of drivers!!! Drivers were jumping early, officials were taking WAY to long to wave the yellow flag on accidents and spinouts (of which there was one about every 3 laps) and by lap 30, people were just banging into each other on purpose, rear ending each other on purpose, and not even trying to regroup in the correct positions for restarts.

Nobody should have won that race!!! It should have been ended and everyone disqualified for their atrocious behavior, especially the 20 year old who won by extremely questionable methods. The fact that Monadnock allowed that race to go on was a huge disappointment!!!

It is our sincere hope that the racetrack issues an apology to fans on their website and that this type of racing is not allowed to continue. They also need to keep the flag official they normally use because tonight there were some serious delays in slowing the races after accidents and spinouts. Someone is going...

Not a great place for children. I was charged admission for my five year old. We read that ten and younger were free. And we said he was five years old twice. He just turned five and doesn't look ten at all. We arrived early and tried to get something to eat for my son and the only place open for food was near the stands by the "beer garden". The security guard told us we were going in to the "beer garden" i said i don't want beer. I don't drink. I'm trying to get chicken nuggets or something to eat for my son. Nowhere else here is open. It was around noon.. We were told we needed to leave our five year old son alone in the stands then. I told her i won't leave a five year old alone. This was the only place at the track serving food. We left before the race started... no refund. Just needed to get out of there. Ill go to the other tracks that don't encourage abandoning young children so they can sell their beer... we drove an hour and a half to be there and never saw the races. Only a little bit of the practicing. ...

I have been going to lebonon valley for about fifteen years when i hung up my helmet and quit driveing at nascar tracks it got to expensive for my wallet i raced a monadnock in the eightys and havent been back since with covid 19 a lot of tracks arent letting spectators in i called around and found monadnock was allowing spectators in so i packed up the rv and got my buddy to check it out we were both amazed at the way things were run and how clean everything was and the people working there were so accomadateing the track has changed so much since i raced there ill be comeing back when ever they have a show there i think its a top shelf opperation vern farmer catman...
