Estrella’s Market & Taqueria — Local services in Windsor

We were rollin' the 71 Skylark around Sonoma County and drove by Estrella's Market while they were grilling up some chicken. After smelling charred meat, we made a quick U-Turn and pulled into the parking lot.

This is a great little market with a legit butcher counter and taqueria.

We ordered a 8 piece plate. It came with fresh made tortillas and salsa. The chicken was marinated and grilled to perfection. It fell off the bone as we sat in the parking lot and ate our lunch in the car.

This was a lot of food and we ended up taking some home with us... after completing our drive through Sonoma and Napa.

We will be back for sure. Not only for the grilled chicken but to try some of the other items in the taqueria and maybe something from the butcher counter.

being a native of PA state, i came across this market and i found a gold mine of food. Mexican market full of all my delights. Not only a food market, but also a deli and a Burrito bar. With authentic Mexican food. Happened to be there on premises when they were bbQ'ng chicken. Don't care much for thighs and wings, but this was outstanding. I cannot begin to reveal to you my total satisfaction with this Taqueria, there are tables available and a wide selection of beverages. I would have been very disappointed had I not found this treasure of a market. Wish I had not to go back east. A must stop for all easterners whom enjoy...

Oooooh man!!! I was turning down the street to go to my first appointment for work and I saw the man out front putting chicken on the large outside grill .. oh I could smell it was going to be good... I said to myself if I go back that same direction , I'm going to stop.... Well I pulled in the lil parking lot and smelled the bbq. Went inside and ordered a full chicken and tortillas... Wow only $12 Bucks!!!!! Went to car and opened the container.. oh my looks so good!!! Oh and tasted even better, next time I'm working in that area. I will stop by... Don't miss...
