I was really looking forward to visiting this place and trying their cocktails and canned cocktails they advertise about but boy was I disappointed when I walked into this establishment. I was barely greeted by the only person (woman who was working there) in the place. The entire time I was there which was probably all of 5 mins, this woman acted like I was an inconvenience to her day the entire time. The place was eerily empty, barely any product, looked like a place going out of business to be honest. I tried both their whiskeys, they were alright and I think they also have vodka which I didn’t try but who likes to try warm vodka, not me. When I asked about canned cocktails, the woman said “oh we don’t have those right now.” and then when I asked if they would be getting more, she said “Oh I don’t know, maybe the 1st of the year.” How does a business not know when they’re getting their main product in? It doesn’t make sense, not sure if this place is struggling or not but you would think if the one person that walks in to give you business would be treated with an ounce of professionalism and/or respect. I will not be returning to this...
Read moreEvery aspect of this local Vermont distiller is fantastic. Their music and marys series is the best! They bring in fantastic performers and the building they get to host them in is gorgeous.
AnnMarie and her staff have also been nothing short of wonderful any time we stop by to enjoy a drink or purchase a bottle. Everyone I’ve gotten to talk is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the product they serve and they are personable and care about giving excellent customer service. They interact with you like you’re a regular, even on your first visit.
Silo’s gin is my personal favorite that I’ve ever had, and their cucumber vodka is delightfully unique and has been a favorite among holiday gifts we’ve given to friends and family.
They are well worth the stop when you visit Vermont, along with everyone else in the...
Read moreWe have always enjoyed coming to Silo and decided it would be a fun place to host my wife’s birthday. It could not have been a better experience. Anne-Marie set up candlelight and flowers throughout, creating exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted. Chelsea and Jamie were brilliant, serving up great cocktails (at a super reasonable price made with their award winning vodka, gin and whisky) and doing the small things (like cutting up and serving the cake, coat room etc) that allowed us to enjoy hosting with friends from near and far. With a DJ and amazing local food from Jenny at Artisan Eats, it was the best birthday bash we have ever had! If you want a rustic barn storming birthday, look...
