This place doesn't deserve any stars but it wouldn't let me post without at least one. My experience was so bad here that I don't even want to give them the time by writing a review but I feel compelled to warn others. I had never been there before and wanted to try it out. I went to the front door and saw a small sign that said, "This is not the W Center, it's around the corner to your right." There could have been large signs clearly posted that directed you to where you needed to go. I walked in to meet a teenage girl and told her this was my first time in and I wanted to do the free week. She had me fill out a form, told me that they normally take a photo copy of your ID but that their copier wasn't working. I handed her the paper, and she said, "okay" and just looked at me. I asked where are the women's locker rooms? How do I get to the pool? Can you give me some direction? Do you have a brochure that lists the class times and information about the facility, etc? She handed me a brochure and in onw very long sentence, gave me directions to everything in the place. I found where I needed to go and had to go back up to reception twice, to ask her where do I get a towel and how do I work the lockers? I then went to the pool and there were three pre-adolescent boys in there, two of whom were clearly not 16. The water was extremely cold even for me who is always hot. I spent some time stretching and watching these boys throw body board at each other. I closed my eyes and hoped that they would just leave but when I open my eyes, there were three more! All of whom were making a ridiculous amount of noise and still throwing bodyboards at each other...all with no supervision! I noticed there were cameras in that area but obviously nobody was watching them. I did one lap and was so uncomfortable and pissed off that I left. When I got out to the reception area there was a teenage boy who apologized stating that he should have been watching the cameras better and what could he do to make me feel better? I told him I wasn't looking to get anything by complaining only that this was the worst experience I have ever had in a fitness facility. Now I am sure that the owners will probably see this review and give me the standard, Oh, we will take your comments into consideration and try to make changes where as they should say, "I apologize for your experience. Please give us a few weeks to make changes, come back in randomly and then make another review. For now, all I can say is that this was absolutely a horrible experience and do not go here. Instead, go to the...
Read moreStopped by yesterday to workout as part of a free, 7 day trial, and have to say, I was very impressed.. Felt so relaxed, not crowded. Music selection playing was amazing! People in other comments saying its small, but I did not sense that at all. They had anything and everything that I desired and more! I have worked out or been to just about every other gym or fitness related facility in Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, and most of Denver, and believe me when I tell you, this place is a JEWEL. Perfect combination of everything you need, and they have a saltwater pool even!! What!!! Try finding that and see how...
Read moreI really like the atmosphere at the W Club. Friendly staff and instructors. My biggest complaint is about the size of the barre room. I love taking the barre class, Lisa is an amazing instructor, but the room its taught in is a makeshift room. The room is not very big, the equipment is not professional (we have to use spin bikes as bars). This is definitely the most popular class (consistently) that the gym offers, and I think if it was in a better room, equipment, etc, you could capture even more people from gyms that recently closed. Look at a pictures of a professional barre studio and compare to what...
