This was a very neat place to visit. My wife and I just wanted to have a night together so we went south to Winfield Alabama to eat seafood. They were pretty much par for the course when it comes to seafood restaurants NOT near the Gulf or an ocean region. In other words the food was fried or grilled. Catfish was considered "seafood" and it was all fried in the same batter so it all tasted pretty much the same. The service was good. The servers really did a great job with everyone there as far as I could tell. My water glass never even came close to being empty. I sincerely appreciate that quality in a server. Ok, on the food. The crab claws were very overcooked! They were about like eating crab claw jerky. The shrimp were ok fried. The batter on everything was a bit too thick. I love just a basic dusting of seasoning and rice flour. Well enough of that. I wonder if the crab claws were actually pre packaged frozen. The food took 37 minutes to get there. No joke, 37. I was looking at my phone checking it when she brought the food out. It wasn't that busy when we got there. It could have been more efficient. The bill was as usual. $52.68. My steak ordered medium, my wife medium rare. Both cooked the same medium. My steak was so thin I thought it was Mongolian beef. Flavor was good I just want a mans steak My potato. Well the ultimate sin. My potato was old. Man that's the worst you can do to a customer. They knew we were first timers too. Coleslaw was good. But the $54 we spent made the 40 miles home un happy. Very disappointed. We never complained. Waitress was very nice and got a generous tip. She...

For our appetizer, we had the jalapeño hush puppies. The salad bar was very good and kept well stocked. Our entrees were the special of the night, an eight ounce ribeye. It was ok. I’ve had worse, but I’ve had better. After a very long wait for our food, it was a little disappointing. May try the catfish in the future. The noise level is high if it is a sensory...
