Alice's Place — Local services in Winston-Salem

Fantastic time! Wonderful and different adventure. We had a lovely time with Miss Alice and Miss Jay. We made plans for a Ladies Afternoon Tea & Baby Shower, and everything was great.

We opted to not dress up, but "play" in the hats and boas~. The pictures of the guest of honor, family and friends are priceless. Our tea choices were abundant and lunch was delicious. Absolutely the best time and money well spent for our time @ Alice's Place. A much needed bit of nostalgia for the good old days when manners and kind words were the rule not the exception.

Last month, I, my daughter and four of my friends enjoyed a tea party at Ms. Alice's on a bleak, grey and rainy day. However, Ms. Alice turned our day into all sunshine and smiles. We had a blast choosing our dresses, shoes and hats before sitting down to enjoy our "tea time"! We had a wonderful lunch and wonderful time listening to Ms. Alice's stories. My two granddaughters (age 7 and age 6) and I spent an absolutely lovely morning at Alice's Place. Her special mixture of dress-up fun, gentle instruction in good manners, and the delicious tea party are unique, fun and educational. My granddaughters are still talking about it!
