The course was fun to play for sure. The reason I’m giving this review is bc of my experience with the staff here. I don’t know why but I was treated very poorly and I honestly feel like my group was singled out for no reason. We were playing at a normal amateur golfer pace but the manager for the day decided to come out and let me know that my group wouldn’t be able to play the last 9 holes bc we were “taking too long”, bc we were apparently holding the groups behind us up. After agreeing to replay the front 9 instead of playing the back 9 my group noticed that no one was playing the back 9 behind us. This was very frustrating bc I was visiting in town from another city and was looking forward to playing all 18 holes. I understand golf etiquette and how it works, but to be blatantly lied to by the staff is super frustrating and unprofessional. I didn’t mind accommodating the manager but it seemed like our group was being singled out for absolutely no reason. We paid to play here just like everyone else, we weren’t being destructive or obscene. As long as the staff is being lead by the current “leadership” I do not recommend ever paying at this golf course, it’s overpriced and the management...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Reynolds Park for the second time, and while the course itself has beautiful landscaping and well-maintained yet speedy greens, I was disappointed by the overall atmosphere during my visit both times. Unfortunately, I sensed an undercurrent of discomfort stemming from what appeared to be unequal treatment based on race. Golf should be an inclusive sport where all players feel welcome and respected regardless of their background. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works toward fostering a more welcoming and equitable environment for all golfers in the future. Improving this aspect would truly enhance the experience and reputation of what could otherwise be a wonderful golf destination. Hit em straight...
Read moreVery well surprised. I only got to play 5 holes as I only had an hour but it weren't for the old school building style clubhouse you'd think this were a private course. One of, if the best municipal course I've seen. Layout is a straight forward, somewhat narrow on the front holes. The greens were just as good as most private places I play on.
The price is what makes it a great deal. Well worth it. Fairways weren't carpet plush but not hardpan cheap goat pasture either.
Definetly will play...
