UPDATE: My rating holds. To the business, this response says a lot about how you treat your patrons. That person wasnât even debating with you, they were ASKing, and made it known they actually liked your shop đ. Beyond immature response to block a Cast Member for inquiring why things are priced so high for dinged items - itâs a justified question Iâve seen many times both on there and here ask. You explained it here, I donât know why you wouldnât do that for the CM and instead blocked them. Seems a bit tantrum-y.
No one will say no to any sort of discount, the point was itâs not much for the people who make the magic.
As a patron myself, former anyway, can gladly say I wonât be returning after how you treat people who ask about products. Thatâs literally part of customer service. Like I said, Iâve been here a few times and got attitude in every interaction and wasnât even greeted on entry. In fact I asked a question about the items I was BUYING at the register, supporting the business, and was met with attitude.
No business is gets rave reviews across the board. Iâm sorry you missed the mark on more than one occasion, but blocking people and admitting to censoring your reviews? Wow. Just improve. Be better.

Watched this company block a Cast Member on social media after they questioned why their items were so overly priced. They seemed to clearly not like being put on the spot, tried to justify a CM discount as enough, and blocked them for questioning their prices. What a fine way to treat the workers. Sad to see such an immature response to a valid concern from those who can barely afford rent on the wages of the company they pull these items from. They tag things as new items just because theyâre from Disney World, despite being used and scratched up. At the end of the day, theyâre worn products. Worn, dinged chairs for $100+? No. I see their point. Iâve been here a few times and received...
Read moreSaw very happy people on Instagram, encouraging you to come to the shop. We waited all week to go. We did not spend anywhere near the time that I thought we would be spending in the store. Let me just say as a former cast member I miss Cast Connections terribly, and was hoping to score a few pieces to add to my collection of Disney furniture. I was sorely disappointed. Donât get me wrong, the store was stocked completely, from floor to ceiling with Disney items, however they were grossly overpriced. Apparently we werenât the only ones that felt this way, because we saw lots of people leaving empty-handed. One guy grumbled to his wife saying ,âHoney, I love you, but really? $15 for 1 bar of soap, and $75 for a dusty Bambi pillow?â Definitely some vintage items as far as the figurines. Most of the items that have been cleared out of the resorts look like they have been sitting there for more than 10 years⌠and at the prices, they are asking I can see why they are still sitting. If you are interested in owning a piece of Disney Resorts history, and money is of no object, then this will be the place for you. Otherwise, do a wee bit of research, and hit the Antique Mall in Lakeland⌠exact same items for a fraction...
Read moreThis place is amazing, I saw a nightstand from animal Kingdom Lodge on a vlog and immediately went to their website. I contacted them and the only one they had left was at their satellite store, which was the one that was actually featured on the vlog. I gave her payment over the phone and rented a van to drive from Port St Lucie the next weekend. When I got there to pick it up, I'm assuming it was the male owner had graciously added a glass top to it that he had glazed on the bottom side to give a zebra print.... What an extra mile to go, I was so enthused. I ended up also purchasing an unused still in the box mirror from animal Kingdom Lodge as well as pillows and the bed runner.... Now every night is like going to sleep in a hotel in the happiest place on earth thank you for that!!!?
And YES, I still have my alarm clock from high school, quality...
