I would never buy another vehicle from this place considering I was scammed by them. I bought a Mazda Miata back in May. This car is 30 years old so I am not surprised that Ive run into issues, but this car was pretty much destroyed mechanically. The owner tried to make the car look good to get rid of it... pretty much a scam! I initially saw this car online for over $4000 dollars, (Which is expensive for a old miata.) so I decided to drive two hours to go look at the car. When I arrived I was taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge on cars. The owner claimed the car I was buying was his wife's car, they said they had owned it for five years or more and it has run great. The owner claims he's a mechanic and knows what he is doing when it comes to cars... CLEARLY he either scammed me or is a terrible mechanic. I asked if the car had any problems, I WAS TOLD "it runs fine and has no problems". I get the car home, two hours after i bought it the car has a massive oil leak.
Heres a list of things that were destroyed when I bought it and what went wrong within the first month of ownership...
-Crankshaft keyway was destroyed. -Massive oil leaks. -Multiple Vacuum leaks. -Idle at 1800rpm due to vacuum leaks. -Clutch master and slave cylinders failed. -Front main seal replaced twice. -Overheated multiple times -Serpentine Belt Broke off while driving -Broken Springs -Broken radiator fan
After that, heres the problems I had in the next four months of ownership...
-Bondo covered rust holes which rusted out. ( I was not informed the body had bondo or any work.) -Cheap paint that chipped off in various places immediately. -Engine Failure due to incorrect tampering with the crankshaft keyway.
Overall, I was scammed. I had to buy a new engine for my car and fix all the above listed problems. Thanks for stealing my money Heckley. For someone who supposedly owned the car personally, there sure was a lot wrong with it. I enjoyed how you lied to an ignorant kid and took my hard earned money.
The Miata is doing amazing now that it is owned by someone who actually cares about it. It is being restored and treated how it should be. I love the car more than anything. The Miata is my prized possession and i plan on keeping it forever. I love the car, but I hate your dishonest...

They had my truck for 4 week to replace the brake lines. After getting it back the same spot was leaking. I called and was told that they would take care of it. After all my family has used them for many years. He had it for almost 4 weeks again. When I called I was told that they had gone over everything!! 2 month later the same spot blows out!! I had to go off Road to not hit anyone. When I called instead of a sympathetic ear I got "call a lawyer" and I did. It's almost impossible to prove. Tells me they are experienced with this kinda thing. I feel like they have been taken advantage of my family for many many years. because we are not knowledgeable about these things. You should be able to trust your mechanic !! Especially for the price.
Turned out they never even replaced that line at all. True scammer. Will lie to your face. Make you feel as if it is your fault to trust anyone.

Read moreThought I got a good deal on an 08 Acadia. Within a month the transmission went out. The dealership did do the right thing and replace transmission. Since I have had to replace wheels and tire, inner and outer tie rods as well as front struts. I bought the vehicle and the claimed oil had just been changed. It had not! Oil plug had to be replaced due to it being stripped out. A total of $5000 later $2500 our of my pocket the vehicle can be driven. Not sure for how long we will see. Get a mechanic to go through a vehicle from this dealership. Shotty mechanic work and lies have cost me alot of money. I would not reccomend buying a vehicle from them. I left out the part that I went to bmv to register it and found I needed a vehicle inspection because they had not transferred the title from...
