What an amazing time we had last night as we joined together as friends to create beautiful handcrafted treasures! Guided by skilled artisans, we were able to paint, stain and design crafts that will become family heirlooms! With Hannah as our teacher, our projects turned our beautifully! Hannah was very patient, kind and professional! She always caught us just in time so our projects look perfect while allowing us to do our own work and revel in our accomplishment! I will have to take a picture to post as an edit to this review so you can all see my finished project! It's gorgeous! I can't wait to go back again soon! I had a private event at Board and Brush - Woodbury, for my birthday. The owner Nicole was very accommodating. She was very responsive to all emails and she allowed us to have it catered afterwards and the room rental for the remaining hour for food and drinks was very reasonable. Her staff was wonderful. We had a group of 14 - a mix of kids and adults. We even had our husbands come and they all enjoyed it and even said that they want to come back and do another. I would highly recommend Board and Brush and I think it is a wonderful place to have a private party especially if you are looking to do something private during Covid. We had a fabulous experience at this B&B location. Ann was especially helpful as one of the "assistants" at our table. I would highly recommend this experience with friends, family or a mix of both. The energy in the room was fun too, as we interacted with other groups in attendance. The only negative was that my sister-in-law had to touch-up her project because the paint pulled off from the stencil. So when picking a project, take that into consideration. Perhaps pick a project that only has to be stained vs. stained and then painted. I will be back.
