I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit. My experience was terrible, Specifically, I encountered the following issues:
-Bar service 5/10: There were 2 or bartenders and 1 was amazing, knew what she was doing, recommended great drinks. The other was terrible. She repeatedly charged my wife $1.75 more than me for the same drinks when she went to get the next round. Then as the main bartender was dealing with other things (I think she's the bar manager too) the other one kept disappearing. The 2 grill people handled everything fine though. Who would of thought.
Customer service: 6/10 I was disappointed by the lack of responsiveness from the staff when we raised concerns. It took an extended period of time for someone to assist us, and the staff member who eventually helped seemed disinterested and unhelpful.
Cleanliness: 7/10 The general cleanliness of the facility was also a concern. The restrooms were not properly stocked, and the area around our lane was not adequately maintained during our visit
Food: 9/10 Can't really say anything too bad. Servers were very nice at the grill and the bar when they helped. Food was, well bowling alley food. Was just kinda hard to hear our lane being called being down towards the end.
I believe that these issues reflect poorly on your business and detract from the otherwise enjoyable atmosphere your bowling alley offers. I would appreciate it if you could look into these matters to ensure that future guests have a more pleasant experience. I trust you will take this feedback seriously and take the necessary steps to improve the quality of service at your...
Read moreThis used to be my go to bowling alley but after my last experience it definitely won’t be anymore. On Sunday, February 16th I called at 4pm asking if they had open bowling the rest of the day. I was told that they did have it for the rest of the day. After I was told that I told them that I was going to be there by 630 and would need 4 lanes. I get there right at 630 and there is a sign on the door that says “private event, no open bowling”. I walked in and asked if there was actually a private event going on or if they just accidentally left the sign on there from earlier in the day. The lady at the front counter told me it was a private event for the rest of the day, no open bowling. I told her I just called an hour and a half ago and was told that there was open bowling for the rest of the night and that I had about 20 people on their way there to bowl. After I told her that she just looked at me like I was stupid and didn’t say anything. This same lady has had an attitude almost every single time I’ve been there but I’ve just ignored it because other than her attitude everything else was great. It’s disappointing that I had to tell everyone in my family nevermind. There’s no way that a “private event” just came out of no where that reserved the entire bowling alley. Definitely won’t be...
Read moreThe Woodhaven Bowl-A-Rama is a great bowling alley. It is kept clean and in good working order. The screens are a little aged but the bowling alleys, bowling balls, shoes and other support structures are all maintained well.
The place is large and well lit. There is a spacious parking lot. The restaurant area is a little small but that doesn’t keep them from making up some great tasting food. I enjoyed a cheeseburger and fries here. The cheeseburger was one of the best I have had in a long time and the best ever at a bowling alley. Their fries are first rate and so are the waffles fries.
Their lounge is tastefully decorated and large. It has a pool table a small dance floor and mixing area as well as comfortable seating with booths and tables. The games scattered throughout the bowling alley are entertaining and reasonably priced.
The only concern I had has nothing to do with the bowling alley directly. There is a train line near here and the tracks may be blocked by a train. Taking the long way around can get you to the bowling alley, so be careful, be flexible. If you wait you may be there...
